Abstract A summary is presented of all Bolivian species of Cyatheaceae and Dicksoniaceae. In total two species of Dicksoniaceae (Culcita 1 sp., Dicksonia 1 sp.) and 34 species of Cyatheaceae (Sphaeropteris 1 sp., Alsophila 5 spp., Cyathea 26 spp., Cnemidaria 2 spp.) are known. Fire responses of bushland plants after the January 1994 wildfires in northern Sydney [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
In early January 1994 wildfires burned areas of bushland in northern Sydney (lat 33° 45’ S, long 151° 05’ E) in coastal south-eastern Australia. This paper reports observations of the fire responses for 828 species of bushland plants – 576 native species

The effect of different growth regimes on the endophytic bacterial communities of the fern, Dicksonia sellowiana hook (Dicksoniaceae) [PDF]

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Microbiology, 2010
Endophytic bacteria associated with the fern Dicksonia sellowiana were investigated. The bacterial communities from the surface-sterilized pinnae and rachis segments of the plants from the Brazilian Atlantic Rainforest that grew in native field conditions were compared with the bacterial communities from plants grown in greenhouses and plants that were

The vegetation of Tasman Peninsula [PDF]

open access: yes, 1986
Although its area is less than 1% of Tasmania, Tasman Peninsula possesses more than one- third of the total native vascular plants of the State. The number of species present is close to that predicted by the theories of island biogeography.

Spatial distribution, biometrics and volumetric estimation of Dicksonia sellowiana (Presl.) Hook (Dicksoniaceae) in an araucaria forest fragment

open access: yesActa Biológica Catarinense, 2021
Dicksonia sellowiana is the only Brazilian tree fern in the Dicksoniaceae family. Due to the exploitation of its caudex for the manufacture of pots for plants, the species is endangered. The objective of this research was to analyze the spatial distribution of D. sellowiana in the araucaria forest.

A klíma hatása a harasztok (zsurlók, páfrányok) fejlődésére és elterjedésére a mecseki kora-jura vegetációban = Climatic influence on occurrence and growth of Pteridophyta in Early Jurassic vegetation in the Mecsek Mountains [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
A magyarországi kora-jura lelőhely a mecseki feketeszén kitermelési helyekhez, Pécs és Komló környéken kötődik. A harasztok (zsurlók és páfrányok) feldolgozása fontos fejezetként szerepel a teljes flóra rekonstruálásában. A lelőhelyről számos zsurló (285

The phytosociology and synecology of Tasmanian vegetation with Callitris [PDF]

open access: yes, 1991
Eleven discernible floristic plant communities were identified in vegetatlon containing Callitris in Tasmania. C.rhomboidea and C. oblonga largely segregate into two sets of communities.
