A strong interaction between the five‐armchair graphene nanoribbons (GNRs) and the encapsulating single‐walled carbon nanotubes is identified. A reduction of the bandgap of the hybrid structure as well as additional proof for the single H‐terminations of the GNRs are confirmed through a combination of optical absorbance spectroscopy and density ...

Knowledge, Love and Epistemic Uncertainty in Marlowe's Edward the Second
In Disowning knowledge in Seven Plays of Shakespeare (CUP, 1987), Stanley Cavell insists on works of art being read in « the company of philosophy » - even if, he continues, such company can sometimes be « restive, difficult, occasionally impossible ...

Arithmetic Logic Unit Circuit Based on Zinc Oxide Nanogap Schottky Diodes
This work demonstrates scalable, high‐performance nanogap Schottky diodes fabricated via adhesion lithography for digital integrated circuits. Logic gates and a 3‐bit Binary Shifter are experimentally realized, and a 4‐bit ALU is designed using ADS‐based models. The results highlight the diodes’ potential for large‐area, cost‐effective, and sustainable

Performance Analysis of MIMO Links With Non‐Isolated Active Antenna Arrays
ABSTRACT In this paper, we analyze the performance of non‐isolated active arrays in a multiple‐input multiple‐output (MIMO) system. When ferromagnetic‐type isolators are removed in the transmitter (Tx) chains, the antenna mutual coupling will dynamically change the load impedance seen by the power amplifiers (PAs) at their outputs, which subsequently ...

On errors-in-variables estimation with unknown noise variance ratio [PDF]
We propose an estimation method for an errors-in-variables model with unknown input and output noise variances. The main assumption that allows identifiability of the model is clustering of the data into two clusters that are distinct in a certain ...
