The Construction Plans for the Temple of Apollo at Didyma
Scientific American, 1985Incised lines on the podium walls of the temple of apollo at dydima are believed to be plans of the temple itself and of its naiskos. The lines were preserved because the temple was left unfinished. They yeld valuable information on greek design process and the refinement of geometric forms.
