[The fluorescence emission spectrum of NO in dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma].
Guang pu xue yu guang pu fen xi = Guang pu, 2004Dielectric barrier discharge was used to study the NO molecules of the atmosphere pollution, and the fluorescence emission spectrum in the range of 210-280 nm at low pressure was obtained in this plasma. The spectrum shows obviously the structure of double apices, whose intensity distribution in accord with Frank-Condon principle and the maximum lies ...

Low-Speed Flow Control Using Dielectric Barrier Discharge (DBD)
2006Abstract : DBDs were created in a quiescent environment, and particle image velocimetry (PIV) was used to obtain field measurements of velocity induced by the discharge. These PIV measurements included random phase measurements and measurements phase-locked to the DBD driving frequency.

The development of low temperature plasma sources operating at atmospheric pressure is opening a new world of possible biomedical applications. In order to attain uniform treatments and avoid localized temperature peaks, a diffused plasma condition is generally desirable for this kind of applications.

Use of dielectric-barrier discharge (DBD) cold plasma for control of bread spoilage fungi
International Journal of Food MicrobiologyBread is a greatly consumed bakery product worldwide. Unfortunately, it is an optimal substrate for fungal contamination and deterioration (aw > 0.95), commonly caused by the genera Penicillium, Paecilomyces, and Aspergillus, resulting in significant economic losses.

The performance of discharge plasma in treating organic pollutants and micro-organisms in water is impressive. When discharge plasma is used to treat polluted water containing organic pollutants and microorganisms, the presence of a certain amount of microplastics (MPs) in the water is unavoidable due to the complexity of the components contained in ...
