Magnetoelectric coupling in MnTiO3 [PDF]
We give general arguments that show that the linear magnetoelectric effect in antiferromagnetic materials gives rise to a magnetocapacitance anomaly—a divergence of the dielectric constant at the magnetic ordering temperature TN that appears in an ...

The thermal diffusivity of MgO‐C refractories is highly sensitive to sample preparation and processing procedures. In this article, the effects of coking sequence, machining conditions, structural inhomogeneity, and graphite coating application on measurements using laser flash apparatus are systematically investigated.

Microwave Dielectric Study of Tetramethylurea and N, N-Dimethylacetamide Binary Mixture in Benzene
Dielectric relaxation of the binary mixture of tetramethylurea and N, N-dimethylacetamide has been studied at fixed frequency and temperature (9.88 GHz & 298 K respectively) in benzene solution.

Dielectric spectroscopy of water at low frequencies: The existence of an isopermitive point
We have studied the real part of the dielectric constant of water from 100 Hz to 1 MHz. We have found that there is a frequency where the dielectric constant is independent of temperature, and called this the isopermitive point.

Disordered (Fe50Co50)1−xPtx thin films exhibit a pronounced anomalous Nernst effect (ANE) with a strong composition dependence on both rigid and flexible substrates. The transverse thermoelectric response peaks near 22.5 at.% Pt, accompanied by enhanced αxy/σxy scaling, thermal transport, and ANE sensitivity.

Dynamics of the Destruction and Rebuilding of a Dipole Gap in Glasses
After a strong electric bias field was applied to a glass sample at temperatures in the millikelvin range its AC-dielectric constant increases and then decays logarithmically with time. For the polyester glass mylar we have observed the relaxation of the

Powder Optimization Strategies for Binder Jetting Printing of BaTiO3 and Ba0,6Sr0,4TiO3 Ceramics
Powder optimization is investigated to enable binder jetting of BaTiO3 and Ba0.6Sr0.4TiO3 ferroelectric ceramics. The antagonistic relationship between flowability and binder compatibility is addressed through binder impregnation of granulated powders and fumed silica addition to fine powders.

Effect of magnetic spins flipping process on the dielectric properties of α-Fe1.6Ga0.4O3 system
The α-Fe1.6Ga0.4O3 (Ga doped α-Fe2O3) sample has been stabilized in rhombohedral structure. The sample is a canted ferromagnet at 300 K and above. The spins structure starts flipping from in-plane direction to out of plane direction of the rhombohedral ...
