For the first time, a highly sensitive electrochemical biosensor based on SiO2‐based hairy particles with a grafted PDMAEMA polymer brush containing a quantifiable and large amount of immobilized Laccase is reported. The fabricated biosensor exhibits a sensitivity of 0.14 A·m⁻¹, a limit of detection (LOD) of 0.1 µm, and a detection range of 0.3–750 µm,

The dielectric properties of clays are studied on the level of individual monolayers and functional double stacks. The material breakdown characteristics and charge storage performance are analyzed. For illustration, a defined charge pattern representing a cuneiform character is produced, written into a microscopic clay tile, referencing the origins of

Improved dielectric properties achieved by blending PP and PVDF
Polymer films composed of polypropylene (PP) and poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) have been fabricated by extrusion with filming system. Owing to the low content of crystallites and the lubricant of carbon black, the commercial product PVDF 370 can be ...

Shellac, a centuries‐old natural resin, is reimagined as a green material for flexible electronics. When combined with silver nanowires, shellac films deliver transparency, conductivity, and stability against humidity. These results position shellac as a sustainable alternative to synthetic polymers for transparent conductors in next‐generation ...

Development of a new prototype system for measuring the permittivity of dielectric materials
A simple prototype for measuring the properties of dielectric materials is introduced in this Letter. A homogeneous dielectric sample placed in a field produced by a nearby antenna will affect the input impedance of the antenna.

Dielectric Losses of Doped Colored Crystals
The dielectric losses of KBr single crystals doped with BaBr2 at different concentrations, both uncolored and additively colored, have been measured. A maximum in the dielectric loss versus frequency curve in the additively colored crystal was observed. This relaxation maximum was found to be due to the presence of Z2 centers.
