Insulation Aging Evaluation Method of High Voltage Cable Based on Dielectric Loss Characteristics

open access: yesEnergies
Health assessments of high-voltage power cables are important for stable operations of power grids; however, most current health assessment model parameters lack whole cable test data, making them unable to effectively characterize the insulation aging ...

Sustainable Catalyst‐Free PLG Networks: Recyclability, Biodegradability, and Functional Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A catalyst‐additive free covalent adaptable network is developed from star‐shaped poly(lactide‐co‐glycolide) cross‐linked with pyromellitic dianhydride, enabling internal carboxylic acid‐driven transesterification. The resulting biodegradable network exhibits mechanical robustness (Young's modulus ≈1.6 GPa), complete recyclability, rapid biodegradation

Synthesis and Characterization of Azo-Based Cyclotriphosphazene Compounds: Liquid Crystalline and Dielectric Properties

open access: yesChemEngineering
The study examined the chemical structure of azo-based liquid crystalline compounds that were altered to form a branch of cyclotriphosphazene. Moreover, the research explored the interplay between their mesomorphic and dielectric properties.

2D Magnetic and Topological Quantum Materials and Devices for Ultralow Power Spintronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
2D magnets and topological quantum materials enable ultralow‐power spintronics by combining robust magnetic order with symmetry‐protected, Berry‐curvature‐driven transport. Fundamentals of 2D anisotropy and spin‐orbit‐coupling induced band inversion are linked to scalable growth and vdW stacking.

Color Routing and Beam Steering of Single‐Molecule Emission with a Spherical Silicon Nanoantenna

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We experimentally demonstrate broadband directional emission from single molecules using a single spherical silicon nanoparticle assembled via DNA origami. By varying nanoparticle (NP) size and emitter position, we achieve unidirectional emission, beam steering, and color routing at the nanoscale, revealing modal interference as the underlying ...
