Dielectric constant and losses in a magnetic field in RexMn1-xS solid solutions (Re = Gd, Yb) [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences
Polycrystalline samples GdxMn1-xS and YbxMn1-xS with a concentration x = 0.2, near the ions percolation concentration through the face-centered cubic lattice, are studied in order to determine fluctuations in the valence of the ytterbium ion on ...

Dielectric Losses of Doped Colored Crystals [PDF]

open access: yesThe Journal of Chemical Physics, 1957
The dielectric losses of KBr single crystals doped with BaBr2 at different concentrations, both uncolored and additively colored, have been measured. A maximum in the dielectric loss versus frequency curve in the additively colored crystal was observed. This relaxation maximum was found to be due to the presence of Z2 centers.

Derivation of losses from impedance spectrum for contour modes of ceramic resonator [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
Method of loss coefficients calculation from mechanical quality factors of transversal vibration modes is presented. Theoretical formulae are derived for the contour mode of thin square plate and width extensional mode of a thin rectangular plate ...

Tailoring Dielectric Properties of Multilayer Composites Using Spark Plasma Sintering [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
A straightforward and simple way to produce well-densified ferroelectric ceramic composites with a full control of both architecture and properties using spark plasma sintering (SPS) is proposed. SPS main outcome is indeed to obtain high densification at
