Compact wideband circularly polarised dielectric resonator antenna
A new geometry of compact wideband/dual‐band circularly polarised dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) is presented. First, a wideband DRA is realised by a rectangular dielectric resonator excited by a vertical coaxial probe feed which is supported by a small substrate.

A theoretical model of the linear electro-optic effect [PDF]
A simple theoretical study of the linear electro-optic effect is presented. This semiclassical approach is based on the single-energy-gap model, the dielectric theory and the concepts of bond charge and effective ionic charge.

Engineering Strategies for 2D Layered Tin Halide Perovskite Field‐Effect Transistors
2D halide perovskites are promising candidates for field‐effect transistor (FET) applications due to their high stability and suppressed ion migration in the presence of bulky organic spacers. This review systematically summarizes the optimization engineering strategies of 2D perovskite FETs and future challenges, which provide guidance for developing ...

Enhancing Low‐Temperature Performance of Sodium‐Ion Batteries via Anion‐Solvent Interactions
DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a co‐solvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the de‐solvent process, and forming an anion‐rich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. With the above virtues, the batteries using this electrolyte exhibit excellent cycling stability at low temperatures. Abstract Sodium‐ion batteries

Effect of electric field on the ultrasonic wave propagation velocity in oils
A dielectric liquid in an external electric field exhibits variations in its physical properties as a result of deformational polarisation and orientational polarisation. Moreover, it undergoes volume deformation due to electrostriction.

This work demonstrates an interphase strain engineering strategy to regulate capacitive energy storage performance in high‐entropy oxide thin films. Through introducing pyrochlore nanocolumns, the polarization response of perovskite unit cells is strengthened, yielding recoverable energy densities up to 93 J cm−3 with an efficiency of 83% under ...

A pore tuning strategy to amplify the multi‐site MOF‐SO2 interactions is proposed to achieve an enhanced trace SO2 capture and chemiresistive sensing in highly stable isostructural DMOFs by annelating benzene rings. This work provides a facile strategy to achieve tailor‐made stable MOF materials for specific multifunctional applications.
