The Inhibition Mechanism of Surfactant Composite for Mild Steel Corrosion in NaCl Solution

open access: yesASM Science Journal, 2021
The corrosion inhibition of sodium deodecylbenzenesulfonate (SDBS) surfactant and ZnSO4 on mild steel in 0.05 M NaCl solution was conducted through the impedance spectroscopy and linear polarisation measurement.

Dielectric Polarisation of Binary Mixture

open access: yes, 1971
Dielectric polarisation of nitrobenzene has been studied at 30° in three solvents benzene, carbon tetrachloride and cyclohexane. The results obtained have been discussed to understand the merits of the equation proposed by Palit1 and also to study the molecular interaction in the light of Earp and Glasstone theory2.

Influences of graphene nanoplatelet aspect ratio and thermal treatment on dielectric performances of poly(methyl methacrylate) composites

open access: yesHigh Voltage, 2016
The dielectric property and percolated behaviour of polymer matrix composites largely depend on the morphology of conductive fillers and external stimulations especially when the composites are processed by melting blending and extrusion-injection way ...

Dielectric Polarisation of Pyridine

open access: yesZeitschrift für Naturforschung B, 1975
This paper deals with the study of dielectric polarisation of pyridine at 35°C in four non polar solvents namely benzene, carbon tetrachloride, dioxan and cyclohexane. The results have been discussed to understand the merits of PALIT equation. It is observed that the moment value μs obtained by this is fairly comparable with that calculated by the ...

90° dielectric polariser in circular waveguide

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2000
Experimental results for a 90° dielectric polariser in a circular waveguide are presented. A small slot notched into the circular waveguide wall, used for the accurate alignment of the dielectric plate, has led to a decrease in the relative phase shift by 15.7%. A new U-shape impedance matching structure results in a bandwidth of 12.4%.

A strategy for accurate prediction of dielectric permittivity and dielectric strength in polyimide

open access: yesHigh Voltage
A strategy was proposed to predict accurately the dielectric permittivity and dielectric strength based on the Onsager local field theory. The molecular dynamic simulation was utilised to analyse the dipole moment fluctuation in polyimide (PI) to reflect
