Resonant Frequency Stability of the Dielectric Resonator on a Dielectric Substrate

A simple approximate method for predicting the resonant frequencies of TE modes of dielectric resonators is developed. By using this method, an analytical expression is derived for the resonant frequency stability of the dielectric resonator on a dielectric substrate, and the effect of the substrate on the stability is studied.

Dielectric filters fills gap between microstrip and cavity filters. Unfortunately they have huge disadvantage, concerning spurious transmission out of band. Dielectric parameters measurement with waveguide-dielectric resonator

The method of low loss dielectric parameters measurement using microwave resonator was suggested. For these measurements the main E/sub 011/ oscillation from axial-symmetrical oscillations class of waveguide-dielectric resonator was used. The measuring section used a circular waveguide part with partial dielectric filling of its cross-section.
