Nonlinear Fano-Resonant Dielectric Metasurfaces
Nano Letters, 2015Strong nonlinear light-matter interaction is highly sought-after for a variety of applications including lasing and all-optical light modulation. Recently, resonant plasmonic structures have been considered promising candidates for enhancing nonlinear optical processes due to their ability to greatly enhance the optical near-field; however, their small

Metallically coated dielectric rectangle resonator
Applied Optics, 2015The double transfer matrix method (DTMM) is proposed for calculating the eigenvalues of the resonant mode of a metallically coated dielectric rectangle resonator. Two-dimensional electromagnetic analyses are performed to investigate the optical influences induced by planar structure parameters. The results show that there theoretically exists a highest

Design of a Wideband Circularly Polarized Stacked Dielectric Resonator Antenna
IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 2019A kind of circular polarized (CP) stacked dielectric resonator (DR) antenna with wide bandwidth and high gain is presented in this communication. For this design, a two-layer DR with improved performance in bandwidth and gain is used as the basic ...

A Wideband Polarization-Reconfigurable Water Dielectric Resonator Antenna
IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters, 2019A water dielectric resonator antenna with reconfiguration and broadband characteristics is presented. By injecting pure water into various cavities of the Plexiglass holder, the antenna can be switched among left-hand circular polarization, right-hand ...

Accurate Resonant Frequencies of Dielectric Resonators
IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 1977The applications of dielectric resonators are currently of considerable interest in microwave integrated circuits. The design of a dielectric resonator depends on its natural resonant frequencies. Since exact solutions of dielectric rectangular and cylindrical resonators cannot be rigorously computed a new and more accurate method has been developed to

Resonances of a "Pillbox" Dielectric Resonator
1978 8th European Microwave Conference, 1978Resonant frequency, quality factor and field plots are discussed for a circular-cylindrical dielectric resonator. These quantities are calculated in the limit ?r ??. The method is a perturbation technique based on an expansion in the (small) parameter (1/??r).

Resonance Trimming in Dielectric Resonant Metasurfaces
IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Quantum Electronics, 2019The field of metasurfaces is rapidly growing. Nowadays, metasurfaces are considered at the front of artificial optical materials. With metasurfaces, it is possible to control the properties of light for variety of applications, from beam shaping, structural colors, and polarization control to tight focusing, scanning, spatial and spectral filtering ...

The problem of scattering electromagnetic waves from a radiating aperture by a system of high-Q dielectric resonators (DR) in free space is considered. General expressions are presented for calculating both the amplitudes of coupled oscillations and also the scattered field in the wave zone of the resonator system.
