Resonant Frequency Stability of the Dielectric Resonator on a Dielectric Substrate

IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 1981
A simple approximate method for predicting the resonant frequencies of TE modes of dielectric resonators is developed. By using this method, an analytical expression is derived for the resonant frequency stability of the dielectric resonator on a dielectric substrate, and the effect of the substrate on the stability is studied.

Dielectric resonator suspended onE-plane

Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 1997
An E-plane suspended dielectric resonator structure specially suitable for millimeter wave is suggested and analyzed in this paper. This structure is compatible with E-plane integrated circuits and can achieve much higher Q-factor than those of microstrip structure.

Dielectric resonator filters

2014 20th International Conference on Microwaves, Radar and Wireless Communications (MIKON), 2014
Dielectric filters fills gap between microstrip and cavity filters. Unfortunately they have huge disadvantage, concerning spurious transmission out of band. In this paper some investigation towards spurious reduction was done. Perfect conducting inserts to resonators was tested to achieve the selected objective.

Dielectric parameters measurement with waveguide-dielectric resonator

ICMWFST'96. 1996 4th International Conference on Millimeter Wave and Far Infrared Science and Technology. Proceedings, 2002
The method of low loss dielectric parameters measurement using microwave resonator was suggested. For these measurements the main E/sub 011/ oscillation from axial-symmetrical oscillations class of waveguide-dielectric resonator was used. The measuring section used a circular waveguide part with partial dielectric filling of its cross-section.

Differential Dual-Polarized Filtering Dielectric Resonator Antenna

IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 2018
This communication presents a differential dual-polarized filtering dielectric resonator antenna (DRA). In this antenna, a four-leaf-clover-shaped dielectric resonator is excited with two groups of out-of-phase modes.

Compact Single-/Dual-Polarized Filtering Dielectric Resonator Antennas

IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 2018
A compact single-polarized filtering dielectric resonator (DR) antenna (DRA) with high selectivity is investigated. The DRA is fed by hybrid microstrip line/conformal strip, excited in its fundamental TE $_{1\delta 1}^{y} $ mode.

Tunable dielectric resonators with dielectric tuning disks

IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 2000
Turnable dielectric resonators with dielectric tuning disks in cylindrical and rectangular enclosures are modeled by mode matching method. Tuning properties of TE/sub 01/ mode such as tuning ranges, spurious mode separation, unloaded quality factors, couplings, etc., are investigated for both rod- and ring-type dielectric resonators. Wide tuning ranges

Dielectric resonator filters

2001
This chapter is concerned with the theory of the design of filters using resonators which are constructed using low loss high permittivity ceramics. Initially the fundamentals of modes in dielectric rod waveguides are discussed. An example of a filter using these resonators is presented.
