Microwave characterization of slotline on high resistivity silicon for antenna feed network [PDF]

open access: yes
Conventional silicon wafers have low resistivity and consequently unacceptably high value of dielectric attenuation constant. Microwave circuits for phased array antenna systems fabricated on these wafers therefore have low efficiency.

3D Anodic Alumina Nanoarchitectures: A Decade of Progress from Foundational Science to Functional Metamaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Ordered three‐dimensional anodic aluminum oxide (3D‐AAO) nanoarchitectures with longitudinal and transverse pores enable architecture‐driven metamaterials. The review maps fabrication advances, including hybrid pulse anodization, and shows how 3D‐AAO templates tailor properties across magnetism, energy, catalysis, and sensing.

High gain circularly polarized graphene inspired dielectric resonator antenna for 6G IOT THz optical communication and optical refractive index Biosensing applications

open access: yesEngineering Science and Technology, an International Journal
In this article a high gain (≈13dBi) circularly polarized dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) has been designed with silicon and graphene based nano materials for 6G terahertz (THz) nano communication and bio sensing applications. This antenna having 2.2 %

The design and fabrication of microstrip omnidirectional array antennas for aerospace applications [PDF]

open access: yes
A microstrip antenna design concept was developed that will provide quasi-omnidirectional radiation pattern characteristics about cylindrical and conical aerospace structures. L-band and S-band antenna arrays were designed, fabricated, and, in some cases,

Electrically Assisted Thermal Stamping of Tunable Carbon‐Based Nanofilms for Direct Fabrication of Hydrophobic, Energy Harvesting, and Sensing Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Schematic illustration of the electrically assisted thermal stamping (EATS) method for direct fabrication of carbon‐based nanofilms and their multifunctional applications. Localized Joule heating triggers simultaneous exfoliation, reduction, and fluoropolymer incorporation under ambient conditions, yielding tunable carbon‐based thin‐film coatings ...

Coupling Nanostructured Plasmon–Strain Microwave Waveguide to Spin Defects in Hexagonal Boron Nitride for High‐Sensitivity Quantum Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Coupling of spin‐active VB−$V_B^ - $ defects in hBN with alumina‐coated gold plasmonic nanoresonators (PNRs), integrated into a microwave‐efficient waveguide, constitutes a plasmon‐strain architecture that enhances their photoluminescence and spin contrast. This platform enables a tenfold quantum yield improvement and achieves a DC magnetic sensitivity

One‐Dimensional Materials Supported in Two‐Dimensional Van der Waals Metal–Organic Frameworks with Optical Anisotropy Switching via Twist‐Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We introduce a molecular strategy to assemble one‐dimensional (1D) materials into two‐dimensional (2D) van der Waals metal–organic frameworks (MOFs). Crystals of [FeX(pzX)(bpy)] (X = Cl, F) form anisotropic 2D layers that can be mechanically exfoliated into thin sheets.
