Standing-Wave Feeding for High-Gain Linear Dielectric Resonator Antenna (DRA) Array [PDF]

open access: yesSensors, 2022
A novel feeding method for linear DRA arrays is presented, illuminating the use of the power divider, transitions, and launchers, and keeping uniform excitation to array elements. This results in a high-gain DRA array with low losses with a design that is simple, compact and inexpensive.

Circularly Polarized Dielectric Resonator Antenna Arrays with Fractal Cross-Slot-Coupled DRA Elements [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2017
In the design of circularly polarized (CP) dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) arrays, the regular-shaped DRAs with simple feeding configurations are mostly used as array elements to make the design procedure more efficient.

Design of Dielectric Resonator Antenna Using Dielectric Paste

open access: yesSensors, 2021
In this publication, the use of a dielectric paste for dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) design is investigated. The dielectric paste can serve as an alternative approach of manufacturing a dielectric resonator antenna by subsequently filling a mold ...

Mm-Wave dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) with wide bandwidth for the future wireless networks [PDF]

open access: yes2016 21st International Conference on Microwave, Radar and Wireless Communications (MIKON), 2016
This paper represents the design of a compact dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) for the future fifth generation (5G) applications. The antenna consists of a cylindrical-ring dielectric resonator (DR) mounted on a low-cost FR-4 surface, and a full ground plane.
