CO2‐Based Fischer‐Tropsch Synthesis Toward Aviation Fuel Components Using a Na‐Promoted Fe Catalyst
A Na‐promoted Fe catalyst was investigated to produce liquid hydrocarbons using CO2‐based Fischer‐Tropsch synthesis. As a result of a systematic variation of operation parameters, 49 wt % of the organic liquid was promising as sustainable aviation fuel. Abstract The CO2‐based Fischer‐Tropsch synthesis toward liquid hydrocarbons was investigated using a

Charting the landscape of the environmental exposome
We describe the biological and chemical components of the environmental exposomes in three major environmental matrices that are highly relevant to human and social‐economical health—air, soil, and water. We discuss how different exposome components can interact with each other. Finally, we propose a list of outstanding challenges to be tackled to push

Abstract Foam injection contributes to improved oil recovery through flow diversion, reduction of interfacial tension (IFT), and wettability alteration of the rock while its stability is an issue. In this article, nitrogen‐foam was optimally formulated using fluorocarbon tubiguard protect (FTP) surfactant stabilized with sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) co‐

Fines deposition during hydrotreating: Effects of catalyst size and bed arrangement
Abstract Fines deposition presents a significant problem during the hydrotreating of bitumen‐derived gas oils. The accumulation of fines leads to reactor clogging and consequently, pressure drop buildup. At critical levels, the hydrotreating reactor must be prematurely shutdown, resulting in substantial economic losses for refineries.
