National Policy Coherence Counts for Reducing Inequality in Global Climate and Development Agendas

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT International institutions promote policy coherence as crucial to the effective and fair implementation of global sustainability agendas, though the evidence for its benefits is slim. We present here the first systematic cross‐country dataset on the consequences of national government efforts to promote policy coherence for vulnerable groups ...

Investigation of engine performance and exhaust gas emissions by using bio-diesel in compression ignition engine and optimisation of bio-diesel production from feedstock by using response surface methodology

open access: yes
Bio-diesel, derived from the transesterification of vegetable oils or animal fats with simple alcohols, has attracted more and more attention recently. As a cleaner burning diesel alternative, bio-diesel claims to have many attractive features including:

Self‐Assembled Conjugated Hollow Fibers for Spongy Monoliths Toward Solar‐Driven Desalination and Hydrovoltaic Electricity Generation

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
A self‐assembled conjugated hollow fiber monolith enables simultaneous solar‐driven desalination and hydrovoltaic electricity generation. Metal‐free polymerization produces cross‐linked hollow fibers that entangle into a porous monolith, followed by gradient polypyrrole coating for efficient light absorption and directional water transport.

Experimental study on flow properties of jojoba oil-diesel fuel blends with/without alcohols additives

open access: yesInternational Journal of Thermofluids
The flow characteristics of different jojoba oil–diesel fuel blends (JDFBs) with and without additives (diethyl ether or Butanol at 5, 10 or 15 %) were experimentally examined to assess their flow performance in comparison with diesel fuel.
