Dietary Patterns and Pediatric Bone
Current Osteoporosis Reports, 2021Much of what we know about dietary patterns (DPs) and bone is derived from cross-sectional studies in adults. Given, establishing healthy bones during childhood serves as a blueprint for adult bone, it is important to better understand the role of DPs on pediatric bone.

Dietary fatty acids, dietary patterns, and lipoprotein metabolism
Current Opinion in Lipidology, 2015Few studies have reviewed the impact of dietary fat and dietary patterns on lipoprotein metabolism. This review intends to provide perspective on this topic, while focusing primarily on the studies that assessed intravascular lipoprotein kinetics in humans using isotope methodologies.Data suggest that dietary saturated fatty acids slow the clearance of

Dietary patterns need emphasising
The Lancet, 2014Obesity stigmatisation has become a major topic of research, with empirical evidence showing neg ative consequences for people who are stigmatised. Dietary patterns and cancer risk
Nature Reviews Cancer, 2019Over the past decade, the search for dietary factors on which to base cancer prevention guidelines has led to the rapid expansion of the field of dietary patterns and cancer. Diet play an important role in the development of cancer. A lot of research has been done on the role of individual nutrients or phytochemicals and cancer risk. Both harmful and beneficial associations of this nutrient have been observed with cancer. However, there is an interaction of individual dietary constituents to influence disease risk.

A Posteriori Dietary Patterns: How Many Patterns to Retain?
The Journal of Nutrition, 2014Principal component analysis (PCA) and cluster analysis are used frequently to derive dietary patterns. Decisions on how many patterns to extract are primarily based on subjective criteria, whereas different solutions vary in their food-group composition and perhaps association with disease outcome.

Dietary patterns and health outcomes
Journal of the American Dietetic Association, 2004A systematic review of the literature on dietary patterns (multiple dietary components operationalized as a single exposure) in relation to nutrient adequacy, lifestyle and demographic variables, and health outcome was conducted. Most of the published reports on the subject have used one of two methods to determine dietary patterns: (a) diet indexes or
