Abstract We propose a hierarchical energy management scheme for aggregating Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) for grid flexibility services. To prevent a direct participation of numerous prosumers in the wholesale electricity market, aggregators, as self‐interest agents in our scheme, incentivize prosumers to provide flexibility. We firstly model the

Abstract Large swarms often adopt a hierarchical network structure that incorporates information aggregation. Although this approach offers significant advantages in terms of communication efficiency and computational complexity, it can also lead to degradation due to information constraints.

Evolutionary dynamics on a regular networked structured and unstructured multi‐population
Abstract In this paper, we study collective decision‐making in a multi‐population framework, where groups of individuals represent whole populations that interact by means of a regular network. Each group consists of a number of players and every player can choose between two options.

Chemoinformatic study of spiramycin in comparison with other antibiotics
Background. Antibiotics have different spectra of action on bacterial pathogens, including their antibiotic-resistant strains. Establishing the spectra of action of antibiotics and mechanisms of resistance to them is an important task for finding ...

Étale difference algebraic groups
Étale difference algebraic groups are a difference analog of étale algebraic groups. Our main result is a Jordan–Hölder type decomposition theorem for these groups. Roughly speaking, it shows that any étale difference algebraic group can be build up from simple étale algebraic groups and two finite étale difference algebraic groups.

Young people's occupational aspirations beyond the aspiration discourse: A sociocultural perspective
Abstract Young people's aspirations have been the focus of many educational, sociological and psychological studies. This paper argues, firstly, that the concept of aspirations holds greater generative potential than suggested by the policy‐oriented ‘aspiration discourse’.

CPT Groups of Spinor Fields in de Sitter and Anti-de Sitter Spaces [PDF]
$CPT$ groups for spinor fields in de Sitter and anti-de Sitter spaces are defined in the framework of automorphism groups of Clifford algebras. It is shown that de Sitter spaces with mutually opposite signatures correspond to Clifford algebras with ...

Abstract In the classroom, metabolism is often approached and received as a mundane exercise in memorization. Teaching metabolism also faces the challenge of negative perceptions that can impede learning. We sought to improve the learning experience in an undergraduate lecture course on microbial metabolism by implementing an illustrated story that ...

ABSTRACT Introduction Residential environments have been linked to brain structure, particularly in children, older adults, and clinical populations. However, little is known about how different dimensions of the housing environment relate to brain white matter microstructure in healthy adults, or whether specific environmental factors show stronger ...
