Unification of integrable q-difference equations
This article presents a unifying framework for q-discrete equations. We introduce a generalized q-difference equation in Hirota bilinear form and develop the associated three-q-soliton solutions which are described in polynomials of power functions ...

Unraveling LINE‐1 retrotransposition in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma
The novel RetroTest method allows the detection of L1 activation in clinical samples with low DNA input, providing global L1 activity and the identification of the L1 source element. We applied RetroTest to a real‐world cohort of HNSCC patients where we reported an early L1 activation, with more than 60% of T1 patients showing L1 activity.

TRIM24 and TRIM28 are androgen receptor (AR) coregulators which exhibit increased expression with cancer progression. Both TRIM24 and TRIM28 combine to influence the response of castrate‐resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) cells to AR inhibitors by mediating AR signalling, regulation of MYC and upregulating VEGF to promote angiogenesis. Castrate‐resistant

Oscillatory properties for Emden–Fowler type difference equations with oscillating coefficients
In this paper, we give new criteria on the oscillation of the fourth-order Emden–Fowler type delay difference equation with oscillating coefficients of the form ΔWn+rnyn−τβ=0,n≥n0,where Wn=pnΔ3vnα and vn=yn+qnyn−σ.

Global attractivity in a nonlinear difference equation
In this paper, we study the asymptotic behavior of positive solutions of the nonlinear difference equation $$ x_{n+1}=x_n f(x_{n-k}), $$ where $f:[0,infty)o(0, infty)$ is a unimodal function, and $k$ is a nonnegative integer.

EMT‐associated bias in the Parsortix® system observed with pancreatic cancer cell lines
The Parsortix® system was tested for CTC enrichment using pancreatic cancer cell lines with different EMT phenotypes. Spike‐in experiments showed lower recovery of mesenchymal‐like cells. This was confirmed with an EMT‐inducible breast cancer cell line.
