Note on the bilinear difference equation with a delay

Mathematical methods in the applied sciences, 2018
A representation formula for the general solution to a higher‐order rational difference equation has been given recently in this journal. The formula was proved by the method of induction without giving any theoretical explanation related to it.

Quantum difference equation for Nakajima varieties

Inventiones Mathematicae, 2016
For an arbitrary Nakajima quiver variety X, we construct an analog of the quantum dynamical Weyl group acting in its equivariant K-theory. The correct generalization of the Weyl group here is the fundamental groupoid of a certain periodic locally finite ...

Symmetry, reductions and exact solutions of the difference equation

, 2016
We investigate the solutions of the second-order difference equation using a group of transformations (Lie symmetries) that leaves the solutions invariant.

Linear integral equations and nonlinear difference-difference equations

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1984
We present a systematic method to obtain various integrable nonlinear difference-difference equations and the associated linear integral equations from which their solutions can be inferred. It is argued that these difference-difference equations can be regarded as arising from Bianchi identities expressing the commutativity of Bäcklund transformations.

On the difference equation

Journal of Difference Equations and Applications, 2000
In this paper we study the boundedness and persistence, the oscillatory character and the asymptotic behavior of the positive solutions of the difference equation , where k∊{1,2,…}pi ∊0,∞i∊{0,…,k}Ai ∊0,∞i∊{0,…,k-1} and the initial conditions x -k ,…,x 0 are arbitrary positive numbers.
