A Novel Difference Expansion Transform for Reversible Data Embedding
Reversible data embedding theory has marked a new epoch for data hiding and information security. Being reversible, the original data and the embedded data should be completely restored.

A Sum-Difference Expansion Scheme for Sparse Array Construction Based on the Fourth-Order Difference Co-Array [PDF]
A generalized sum-difference expansion scheme is proposed to construct sparse arrays based on the fourth-order difference co-array with increased degrees of freedom (DOFs).

Difference Expansion Based Reversible Data Hiding Using Two Embedding Directions
Current difference-expansion (DE) embedding techniques perform one layer embedding in a difference image. They do not turn to the next difference image for another layer embedding unless the current difference image has no expandable differences left ...

Digital Expansions with Respect to Different Bases
Monatshefte fr Mathematik, 2003The authors study the distribution and the average of the \(k\)th digit in the base \(g\)-expansion of \(N\), when \(g\) varies in the interval \([2,N']\). They also study the average of the sum of digits in the same framework. Their method consists of fine evaluations of exponential sums and ``\(\psi\)-sums'', where \(\psi\) is the first Bernoulli ...

On-shell expansion and different vacua
Physical Review D, 1992The on-shell expansion of the effective action is applied to connect the different vacuum solutions by using the on-shell quantities only. By this method, one of the vacuum states is represented essentially by the coherent state constructed upon another vacuum.

Reversible watermarking using prediction and Difference Expansion
2010 2nd European Workshop on Visual Information Processing (EUVIP), 2010Reversible data hiding deals with the insertion of auxiliary information into a host data without causing any permanent degradation to the original signal. In this paper a novel reversible data hiding scheme, based on the classical Difference Expansion insertion algorithm, is presented.

On the equivalence of different Landau expansions
Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1989Abstract The critical behavior of magnetic model systems in the mean-field approximation may be obtained from a standard Landau expansion, in terms of the order parameter m , of the functional ψ ( T , H ; m ) = − Hm + f ( T , m ), where f is the Helmholtz free energy.

Expansion Model Test of Expansive Soil in Different Stress State
Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering, 2015The hydroscopic expansion of expansive soil always leads to engineering safety problems. With mid-expansive soil at Nanyang, the relationship among the expansion ratio caused by total wetting of expansive soil, eventual and initial ratio of water content, and overlying loads was studied.

ASYMPTOTIC EXPANSION FOR DIFFERENCE EQUATIONS WITH INFINITE DELAY
Asian-European Journal of Mathematics, 2009Using summable dichotomies and Schauder's fixed point theorem, we obtain existence, asymptotic behavior and compactness properties, of convergent solutions for difference equations with infinite delay. Applications on Volterra difference equations with infinite delay are shown.
