Gaussian Local Phase Approximation in a Cylindrical Tissue Model

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics, 2021
In NMR or MRI, the measured signal is a function of the accumulated magnetization phase inside the measurement voxel, which itself depends on microstructural tissue parameters.

Performance Degradation in Cross-Eye Jamming Due to Amplitude/Phase Instability between Jammer Antennas

open access: yesSensors, 2021
Cross-eye gain in cross-eye jamming systems is highly dependent on amplitude ratio and the phase difference between jammer antennas. It is well known that cross-eye jamming is most effective for the amplitude ratio of unity and phase difference of 180 ...

Dynamic Expansion of Urban Land in China’s Coastal Zone since 2000

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2022
Although a major region with strong urbanization, there is not yet a systematic and comprehensive understanding of urban expansion during the last 20 years for China’s coastal zone.

Commutative Encryption and Reversible Watermarking Algorithm for Vector Maps Based on Virtual Coordinates

open access: yesISPRS International Journal of Geo-Information
The combination of encryption and digital watermarking technologies is an increasingly popular approach to achieve full lifecycle data protection. Recently, reversible data hiding in the encrypted domain (RDHED) has greatly aroused the interest of many ...

Derivation, characterization and expansion of fetal chondrocytes on different microcarriers [PDF]

open access: yesCytotechnology, 2011
Fetal chondrocytes (FCs) have recently been identified as an alternative cell source for cartilage tissue engineering applications because of their partially chondrogenically differentiated phenotype and developmental plasticity. In this study, chondrocytes derived from fetal bovine cartilage were characterized and then cultured on commercially ...

Health‐Related Social Needs in Children With Sickle Cell Disease Are Associated With Worse Health‐Related Quality of Life

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Children with sickle cell disease (SCD) face multiple acute and chronic medical complications that may impact their quality of life as reported by patients themselves. Health‐related social needs (HRSNs), such as food and housing insecurity, are common in people with SCD, but the association between HRSNs and patient‐reported ...

A new multilevel reversible bit-planes data hiding technique based on histogram shifting of efficient compressed domain

open access: yesVietnam Journal of Computer Science, 2018
In this paper, we proposed a new technique for reversible data hiding based on efficient compressed domain with multiple bit planes. We conducted a sequence of experiments to use block division scheme to appraise the result with different parameters and ...

Two-layers robust data hiding scheme for highly compressed image exploiting AMBTC with difference expansion

open access: yesJournal of King Saud University: Computer and Information Sciences, 2022
When the secret message is placed inside a highly compressed image, the transmission will be more secure and cost efficient. In this article, two-layer data embedding and extraction approaches are provided that use a combination of Absolute Moment Block ...

Reversible watermark using difference expansion of quads [PDF]

open access: yes2004 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing, 2004
A reversible watermarking algorithm with very high data hiding capacity has been developed for colored images. The algorithm allows the watermarking process to be reversed to restore the original image exactly. The algorithm hides triplets of bits in the difference expansion of quads of adjacent pixels.

Are Fertility Preservation Procedures Before Gonadotoxic Therapy and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation Feasible and Safe in Very Young Children? A Retrospective Cohort Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Fertility preservation (FP) is increasingly integrated into the care of pediatric patients exposed to gonadotoxic therapy or conditioning for hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), yet perioperative data in infants and toddlers remain scarce.
