Crosstalk between the ribosome quality control‐associated E3 ubiquitin ligases LTN1 and RNF10
Loss of the E3 ligase LTN1, the ubiquitin‐like modifier UFM1, or the deubiquitinating enzyme UFSP2 disrupts endoplasmic reticulum–ribosome quality control (ER‐RQC), a pathway that removes stalled ribosomes and faulty proteins. This disruption may trigger a compensatory response to ER‐RQC defects, including increased expression of the E3 ligase RNF10 ...

On Pairs of Difference Operators Satisfying: [P,Q] = Id
Different finite difference replacements for the derivative are analyzed in the context of the Heisenberg commutation relation. The type of the finite difference operator is shown to be tied to whether one can naturally consider $P$ and $X$ to be self ...

COEFFICIENT STABILITY OF OPERATOR–DIFFERENCE SCHEMES
A priori estimates expressing continuous dependence of the solution of a first order evolutionary equation in Hubert space on initial condition, right hand side and operator perturbations are obtained in time–integral norms. Analogous results hold for corresponding finite difference schemes.

Function‐driven design of a surrogate interleukin‐2 receptor ligand
Interleukin (IL)‐2 signaling can be achieved and precisely fine‐tuned through the affinity, distance, and orientation of the heterodimeric receptors with their ligands. We designed a biased IL‐2 surrogate ligand that selectively promotes effector T and natural killer cell activation and differentiation. Interleukin (IL) receptors play a pivotal role in

ON THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HERMITIAN OPERATORS AND SELF-ADJOINT OPERATORS
We explore the difference between the notions of hermitian and self-adjoint operator, illustrating with examples its relevance for the correct description of quantum systems.

Noncommutative bispectral Darboux transformations
We prove a general theorem establishing the bispectrality of noncommutative Darboux transformations. It has a wide range of applications that establish bispectrality of such transformations for differential, difference and q-difference operators with ...

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Discretized representations of harmonic variables by bilateral Jacobi operators
Starting from a discrete Heisenberg algebra we solve several representation problems for a discretized quantum oscillator in a weighted sequence space. The Schrödinger operator for a discrete harmonic oscillator is derived. The representation problem for
