Evaluation of Computing Symmetrical Zolotarev Polynomials of the First Kind [PDF]
This report summarize and compares with each other various methods for computing the symmetrical Zolotarev Polynomial of the first kind and its spectrum. Suitable criteria are suggested for the comparison.

This work introduces a novel approach for encoding and storing information in the liquid state in microdroplet arrays. These liquid‐in‐liquid prints are generated by a droplet printing system capable of dynamically setting the composition of each droplet pixel.

Polynomial Differences in the Primes [PDF]
We establish, utilizing the Hardy-Littlewood Circle Method, an asymptotic formula for the number of pairs of primes whose differences lie in the image of a fixed polynomial. We also include a generalization of this result where differences are replaced with any integer linear combination of two primes.

Asymmetry of the Ferroelectric Phase Transition in BaTiO3
Phase transitions are typically assumed to behave identically in forward and reverse. This work shows that in the ferroelectric material barium titanate this is not true: heating drives an abrupt, first‐order jump, while cooling gives a smooth, continuous change.

It has long been a concern of researchers to address the challenges of solving higher-order differential equations. In order to approximate 11th-order boundary value problems (BVPs), this work presents a novel numerical approach that combines ...

The Integration Order of Vector Autoregressive Processes [PDF]
We show that the order of integration of a vector autoregressive process is equal to the difference between the multiplicity of the unit root in the characteristic equation and the multiplicity of the unit root in the adjoint matrix polynomial.

The selective hydrogenation of acetylene over laterally condensed Pd and Pd–Au catalysts (LCCs) was investigated using operando X‐ray absorption and photoelectron spectroscopy in combination with density functional theory. Pd‐LCCs were found to incorporate significantly more carbon into the metal lattice than Pd–Au LCCs, where the carbon uptake governs

Universal Conductance Fluctuations in Quantum Anomalous Hall Insulators
Universal conductance fluctuations are observed in mesoscopic quantum anomalous Hall insulators. Two distinct fluctuation patterns are identified, arising from different interference processes of bulk and chiral edge states, respectively. These findings unveil rich quantum interference phenomena in quantum anomalous Hall insulators and provide insights

Dynamic Optical Lattices Through Conducting Polymer‐Gated Confinement
The conducting polymer gate is incorporated into organic dielectric lattices to control the dynamic switching of nonlocal Mie resonances in the visible/NIR regions. The “closed gate” from oxidized PEDOT confines the light within dielectric nanocylinders and activates nonlocal Mie resonances, while the “opened gate” from reduced PEDOT facilitates ...

Value distribution of difference polynomials
The authors continue their investigations of the value distribution of difference polynomials of meromorphic functions. They show in particular (cf. Theorem 1) that extending the Tumura-Clunie type theorems to difference polynomials requires some additional assumptions.
