A new operation on soft sets: extended symmetric difference of soft sets [PDF]
Introduction/purpose: Molodtsov introduced the concept of soft sets as a new mathematical tool for dealing with problems containing uncertainties.

An Existing Problem for Symmetric Design: Bruck Ryser Chowla Theorem
Symetric designs are interesting objects of combinatorics, and have some relations with coding theory, difference sets, geometry and finite group theory. They have applications on statistics and design experiments.

Almost Difference Sets From Singer Type Golomb Rulers
Let $G$ be an additive group of order $v$ . A $k$ -element subset $D$ of $G$ is called a $(v, k, \lambda, t)$ -almost difference set if the expressions $g-h$ , for $g$ and $h$ in $D$ , represent $t$ of the non-identity elements in $G ...

Multivariate polynomial values in difference sets
Multivariate polynomial values in difference sets, Discrete Analysis 2021:11, 46 pp. A well known theorem of Furstenberg and Sárközy states that every dense set of integers must contain two elements that differ by a perfect square.

Image Sharpening Detection Based on Difference Sets
Image sharpening is one of the basic operations used to improve the visual effect of images. Image editing makes it impossible to confirm the authenticity of an image, and the purpose of image forensics is to detect whether an image has been artificially

Almost Difference Set Pairs and Ideal Three-Level Correlation Binary Sequence Pairs
Almost difference set pairs are used in cryptography and coding theory, and a majority of the acknowledged almost difference set pairs are constructed by Chinese remainder theorem, cyclotomy or interleaving.

Hypersoft set theory is an extension of soft set theory and is a new mathematical tool for dealing with fuzzy problems; however, it still suffers from the parametric tools’ inadequacies.

Some relations between the sets of f-statistically convergent difference sequences
In this study we establish the relations between the sets of difference sequences which are statistically convergent in connection with modulus functions.

A $(v,k,λ)$ difference set in a group $G$ of order $v$ is a subset $\{d_1, d_2, \ldots,d_k\}$ of $G$ such that $D=\sum d_i$ in the group ring $\mathbb{Z}[G]$ satisfies $$D D^{-1} = n + λG,$$ where $n=k-λ$. If $D=\sum s_i d_i$, where the $s_i \in \{ \pm 1\}$, satisfies the same equation, we will call it a signed difference set.
