Design optimization of integrated CM/DM inductors for power drive input filter

open access: yesPower Electronic Devices and Components
More electric aircraft face many challenges related to the weight and losses of power quality and EMI filters. A solution to reduce weight and losses is integrating the Differential Mode (DM) and Common Mode (CM) inductances of filters in the same ...

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

Suppressing Conducted DM EMI in an Active Power Filter via Periodic Carrier Frequency Modulation

open access: yesEnergies, 2019
Active power filters (APF) aim at solving the harmonic problem originated by the nonlinear load in power systems. However, the high dv/dt and di/dt outputs from power electronic devices in a voltage source converter on APF introduced unwanted conducted ...

A 29.5 dBm OOB IIP3 TIA Based on a Two-Stage Pseudo-Differential OTA With R-C Compensation and Cascode Negative Resistance

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
This paper presents a highly linear and wideband transimpedance amplifier (TIA) suitable for 5G Sub-6 GHz surface acoustic wave (SAW) filter-less receivers (RX). It is known that for the baseband TIA in a SAW-less RX, the high out-of-band (OOB) linearity

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Mitigation Conducted Emission Strategy Based on Transfer Function from a DC-Fed Wireless Charging System for Electric Vehicles

open access: yesEnergies, 2018
The large dv/dt and di/dt outputs of power devices in wireless charging system (WCS) in electric vehicles (EVs) always introduce conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) emissions. This paper proposes a mitigation conducted emission strategy based on

Cancer‐associated mutations in endometriosis reframe a benign disease through molecular oncology

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review aims to comprehensively analyse cancer‐associated somatic mutations (CAMs) present in endometriotic lesions, emphasizing their biological roles, spatial distribution and implications for translational applications in medicine. By contextualizing a benign state within a genomic framework, this analysis seeks to establish its value as a ...

SPHINX31 acts as a SRPK1 inhibitor targeting the ATR/DNA‐PKcs/CHK1 replicative checkpoint to inhibit cell growth in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The kinase SRPK1 directly interacts with the protein TOPBP1 and regulates the pre‐mRNA splicing of WIZ thereby contributing to the activation of the ATR/CHK1 replicative checkpoint in response to replicative stress. This allows cancer cells' genomic stability and survival.

Aquaporin‐3 and aquaporin‐5 impact the development of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma spheroids

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Schematic representation of the role of aquaporin‐3 (AQP3) and aquaporin‐5 (AQP5) in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). Both proteins are upregulated in PDAC and are associated with tumor progression and metastatic potential. Silencing AQP3 or AQP5 in PDAC spheroids results in decreased diameter, area, and overall growth, underscoring their key ...
