Modeling and Verification of 1/f Noise Mechanisms in FAPbBr3 Single‐Crystal X‐Ray Detectors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstratethat surface‐trap‐induced carrier number fluctuations are the dominantmechanism in FAPbBr3 Schottky devices, a conclusion supported by thedistinct defect profiles revealed by Drive‐Level Capacitance Profiling (DLCP). Throughnoise contribution decomposition, it is found that the 1/f noise of thedetector is the key noise source affecting ...

Generalised symmetries of remarkable (1+2)-dimensional Fokker–Planck equation

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Applied Mathematics
Using an original method, we find the algebra of generalised symmetries of a remarkable (1+2)-dimensional ultraparabolic Fokker–Planck equation, which is also called the Kolmogorov equation and is singled out within the entire class of ultraparabolic ...

𝐶*-algebras and differential topology [PDF]

open access: yesBulletin of the American Mathematical Society, 1985
Let M be a smooth closed manifold. The isotopy classes of smooth structures on M can be made into a finite abelian group \(\Sigma(M).\) The author constructs the homomorphism \(\vartheta(\Sigma(M)\to K^ 0(M))\) into the multiplicative group of units. The main results: there is a manifold M with a second structure \(\alpha \in \Sigma (M)_{(2)}\), for ...

Low‐Power Control Of Resistance Switching Transitions in First‐Order Memristors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Joule losses are a serious concern in modern integrated circuit design. In this regard, minimizing the energy necessary for programming memristors should be handled with care. This manuscript presents an optimal control framework, allowing to derive energy‐efficient programming voltage protocols for resistance switching devices. Following this approach,

Stability of an additive-quadratic functional equation in modular spaces

open access: yesOpen Mathematics
Using the direct method, we prove the Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability of the following functional equation: ϕ(x+y,z+w)+ϕ(x−y,z−w)−2ϕ(x,z)−2ϕ(x,w)=0\phi \left(x+y,z+w)+\phi \left(x-y,z-w)-2\phi \left(x,z)-2\phi \left(x,w)=0 in ρ\rho -complete convex modular ...

On differential Rota–Baxter algebras

open access: yesJournal of Pure and Applied Algebra, 2008
A Rota-Baxter operator of weight $ $ is an abstraction of both the integral operator (when $ =0$) and the summation operator (when $ =1$). We similarly define a differential operator of weight $ $ that includes both the differential operator (when $ =0$) and the difference operator (when $ =1$).

Transient modeling of extraction columns: Parameter estimation, uncertainty analysis, and operation optimization

open access: yesAIChE Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Despite extensive modeling efforts in extraction research, transient column models are rarely applied in industry due to concerns regarding parameter identifiability and model reliability. To address this, we analyzed uncertainty propagation from estimated parameters in a previously introduced column model and assessed identifiability via ill ...

On q-deformed infinite-dimensional n-algebra

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2016
The q-deformation of the infinite-dimensional n-algebras is investigated. Based on the structure of the q-deformed Virasoro–Witt algebra, we derive a nontrivial q-deformed Virasoro–Witt n-algebra which is nothing but a sh-n-Lie algebra.

Interpretability and Representability of Commutative Algebra, Algebraic Topology, and Topological Spectral Theory for Real‐World Data

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
This article investigates how persistent homology, persistent Laplacians, and persistent commutative algebra reveal complementary geometric, topological, and algebraic invariants or signatures of real‐world data. By analyzing shapes, synthetic complexes, fullerenes, and biomolecules, the article shows how these mathematical frameworks enhance ...

Revealing Protein–Protein Interactions Using a Graph Theory‐Augmented Deep Learning Approach

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
This study presents a fast, cost‐efficient approach for classifying protein–protein interactions by integrating graph‐theory parametrization with deep learning (DL). Multiscale features extracted from graph‐encoded polarized‐light microscopy (PLM) images enable accurate prediction of binding strengths.
