Scattering forms and the positive geometry of kinematics, color and the worldsheet
The search for a theory of the S-Matrix over the past five decades has revealed surprising geometric structures underlying scattering amplitudes ranging from the string worldsheet to the amplituhedron, but these are all geometries in auxiliary spaces as ...

Algebraic singularities of scattering amplitudes from tropical geometry
We address the appearance of algebraic singularities in the symbol alphabet of scattering amplitudes in the context of planar N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 super Yang-Mills theory.

On the classical geometry of embedded manifolds in terms of Nambu brackets [PDF]
We prove that many aspects of the differential geometry of embedded Riemannian manifolds can be formulated in terms of a multi-linear algebraic structure on the space of smooth functions.

Manipulating Individual Topological Solitons and Bisolitons in an Electronic System
While localized topological modes in quantum materials promise loss‐less delivery of classical and quantum information, manipulating them individually has been challenging. This work succeeded in manipulating topological solitons formed along atomic wires on silicon surfaces with high reproducibility in various ways, including translating, transforming

Singular solutions in soft limits
A generalization of the scattering equations on X (2, n), the configuration space of n points on ℂℙ1, to higher dimensional projective spaces was recently introduced by Early, Guevara, Mizera, and one of the authors.

Herein, the maximum violation of the three‐setting Clauser–Horne–Shimony–Holt (CHSH) inequality using nonmaximally entangled photons with orbital angular momentum is demonstrated. By mapping the optimization problem to maximizing a triangle's perimeter inscribed in an ellipse, the experiment validates the geometric approach and highlights the ...

Towards analytic structure of Feynman parameter integrals with rational curves
We propose a strategy to study the analytic structure of Feynman parameter integrals where singularities of the integrand consist of rational irreducible components.

Continuum Mechanics Modeling of Flexible Spring Joints in Surgical Robots
A new mechanical model of a tendon‐actuated helical extension spring joint in surgical robots is built using Cosserat rod theory. The model can implicitly handle the unknown contacts between adjacent coils and numerically predict spring shapes from straight to significantly bent under actuation forces.

Generalized planar Feynman diagrams: collections
Tree-level Feynman diagrams in a cubic scalar theory can be given a metric such that each edge has a length. The space of metric trees is made out of orthants joined where a tree degenerates.
