Explicit Solutions of Singular Differential Equation by Means of Fractional Calculus Operators
Recently, several authors demonstrated the usefulness of fractional calculus operators in the derivation of particular solutions of a considerably large number of linear ordinary and partial differential equations of the second and higher orders.

In 1672, Leibniz introduced the expression “” in a mathematical text dealing with number series to express the sum of units. It probably is one of the first appearances of this expression in the history of mathematics.

The enzyme 5‐lipoxygenase (5‐LOX) catalyzes the first step in the biosynthesis of leukotrienes (LTs) involved in inflammatory pathophysiology. After cellular stimulation, 5‐LOX translocates to the nucleus, interacting with the 5‐LOX‐activating protein (FLAP) to form LTA4 from arachidonic acid (AA).

Completeness of algebraic CPS simulations [PDF]
The algebraic lambda calculus and the linear algebraic lambda calculus are two extensions of the classical lambda calculus with linear combinations of terms.

Differential and Integral Calculus
Differential and Integral Calculus are two fundamental branches of mathematical analysis that focus on understanding the behaviour of functions and their applications to real-world problems. Differential calculus concerns the study of rates of change and the concept of the derivative, while integral calculus deals with the accumulation of quantities ...

Calculus of variations with differential forms [PDF]
We study integrals of the form \int_{\Omega}f\left( d\omega\right) , where 1\leq k\leq n , f:\Lambda^{k}\rightarrow\mathbb{R} is continuous and \omega

UDP‐glucuronic acid 4‐epimerase (UGAepi) catalyzes NAD+‐dependent interconversion of UDP‐glucuronic acid (UDP‐GlcA) and UDP‐galacturonic acid (UDP‐GalA) via C4‐oxidation, 4‐keto‐intermediate rotation, and C4‐reduction. Here, Borg et al. examined the role of the substrate's carboxylate group in the enzymic mechanism by analyzing NADH‐dependent reduction

calculus: High-Dimensional Numerical and Symbolic Calculus in R
The R package calculus implements C++-optimized functions for numerical and symbolic calculus, such as the Einstein summing convention, fast computation of the LeviCivita symbol and generalized Kronecker delta, Taylor series expansion, multivariate ...

Glutaredoxin (Grx) 3 proteins contain a thioredoxin domain and one to three class II Grx domains. These proteins play a crucial role in iron homeostasis in eukaryotic cells. In human Grx3, at least one of the two Grx domains, together with the thioredoxin domain, is essential for its function in iron metabolism.

Full Abstraction for the Resource Lambda Calculus with Tests, through Taylor Expansion [PDF]
We study the semantics of a resource-sensitive extension of the lambda calculus in a canonical reflexive object of a category of sets and relations, a relational version of Scott's original model of the pure lambda calculus.
