On the 5D differential calculus and translation transformations in 4D kappa-Minkowski noncommutative spacetime

open access: yes, 2007
We perform a Noether analysis for a description of translation transformations in 4D $\kappa$-Minkowski noncommutative spacetime which is based on the structure of a 5D differential calculus.

Pembelajaran Kalkulus Berbantuan Sofware Maple: Studi Perbedaan Hasil Kerja Mahasiswa dengan Menggunakan Maple dan Tanpa Menggunakan Maple

open access: yesJurnal Elemen, 2019
This study aims to: (1) to find out the results of student work using Maple and without using Maple; (2) to find out how students respond to learning using Maple. This research is qualitative descriptive research. The instruments used in collecting data

From omics to AI—mapping the pathogenic pathways in type 2 diabetes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Integrating multi‐omics data with AI‐based modelling (unsupervised and supervised machine learning) identify optimal patient clusters, informing AI‐driven accurate risk stratification. Digital twins simulate individual trajectories in real time, guiding precision medicine by matching patients to targeted therapies.

Invariance quantum groups of the deformed oscillator algebra

open access: yes, 1996
A differential calculus is set up on a deformation of the oscillator algebra. It is uniquely determined by the requirement of invariance under a seven-dimensional quantum group. The quantum space and its associated differential calculus are also shown to

Mycobacterium tuberculosis sulfurtransferase SseA is activated by its neighboring gene product Rv3284

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Tuberculosis remains a global health challenge and new therapeutic targets are required. Here, we characterized SseA, a sulfurtransferase from Mycobacterium tuberculosis involved in macrophage infection, and its interaction with the newly identified protein SufEMtb that activates SseA enzymatic activity.

Differential Calculi on Commutative Algebras

open access: yes, 1994
A differential calculus on an associative algebra A is an algebraic analogue of the calculus of differential forms on a smooth manifold. It supplies A with a structure on which dynamics and field theory can be formulated to some extent in very much the ...

Aβ42 promotes the aggregation of α‐synuclein splice isoforms via heterogeneous nucleation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The aggregation of amyloid‐β (Aβ) and α‐synuclein (αSyn) is associated with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases. This study reveals that Aβ aggregates serve as potent nucleation sites for the aggregation of αSyn and its splice isoforms, shedding light on the intricate interplay between these two pathogenic proteins.

The Fractional Differential Polynomial Neural Network for Approximation of Functions

open access: yesEntropy, 2013
In this work, we introduce a generalization of the differential polynomial neural network utilizing fractional calculus. Fractional calculus is taken in the sense of the Caputo differential operator.

Archaeal protein containing domain of unknown function 2193 undergoes oligomeric reconfiguration upon iron–sulfur cluster binding

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This work presents the characterization of MvoDUF2193, a Methanococcus voltae (Mvo) protein from the domain of unknown function (DUF) 2193 family. We demonstrate that MvoDUF2193 binds a single [4Fe–4S] cluster per subunit and that cluster occupancy regulates the transition from an apo tetramer to a [4Fe–4S] monomeric form. This structural transition is
