Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Algorithm for estimating the absolute total electron content of the ionosphere from dual-frequency phase and range satellite measurements

open access: yesInformatika
Objectives. The problem of developing an algorithm for estimating the absolute total electron content of the ionosphere from dual-frequency phase and range satellite measurements for a single receiving station of global navigation satellite systems is ...

Temporal and spatial variation of differential code biases: A case study of regional network in Egypt

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal, 2016
Measurements of Global Positioning Satellite System receivers are affected by systematic offsets related to group and phase delays of the signal generation and processing chain. One of the important factors affecting the ionosphere Total Electron Content

Estimation of BDS-3 Differential Code Bias with Satellite Phase Center Offset Correction Applied

open access: yes, 2022
The precise different code bias (DCB) correction information is basically required in the high-precision applications of multi-frequency Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). It is noted that the phase center offset (PCO) errors have not yet been properly handled in the generation of GNSS DCBs.

Control of spin in quantum dots with non-Fermi liquid correlations

open access: yes, 2001
Spin effects in the transport properties of a quantum dot with spin-charge separation are investigated. It is found that the non-linear transport spectra are dominated by spin dynamics.

Pathogenic Neurofibromatosis type 1 gene variants in tumors of non‐NF1 patients and role of R1276

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Somatic variants of the neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) gene occur across neoplasms without clinical manifestation of the disease NF1. We identified emerging somatic pathogenic NF1 variants and hotspots, for example, at the arginine finger 1276. Those missense variants provide fundamental information about neurofibromin's role in cancer.

LC-oscillator with automatic stabilized amplitude via bias current control [PDF]

open access: yes, 1974
A stable excitation supply for measurement transducers is described. It consists of a single-transistor oscillator with a coil connected to the collector and a capacitor connected from the collector to the emitter.

Design of a compact and low-power TDC for an array of SiPM's in 110nm CIS technology [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Silicon photomultipliers (SiPMs) are meant to substitute photomultiplier tubes in high-energy physics detectors and nuclear medicine. This is because of their -to name a few interesting properties- compactness, lower bias voltage, tolerance to magnetic ...
