On Nonlinear Dynamics of the STAT5a Signaling Protein
In this paper we model the dynamics of the cross talk between MEK/ERK and JAK/STAT signaling pathways by means of nonlinear ordinary differential equations.

Investigating transcription factor dynamics in health and disease using FRAP
FRAP analysis of GFP‐tagged transcription factors reveals how molecular mobility and target engagement change in response to drug treatment. By combining live‐cell imaging, quantitative model fitting, and statistical analysis, this approach uncovers transcription factor dynamics linked to disease mechanisms, providing a powerful framework for ...

Mathematical modeling and visualization of gas transport in a zeolite bed using a slice selection procedure [PDF]
We present the analytical solution of the equations of gas diffusion in a heterogeneous zeolite bed. The problem is handled by assuming that the bed consists of a large number of very thin layers of solid, perpendicular to the direction of propagation of

Here three dimensional (3D) flow of second grade fluid has been studied in the presence of Cattaneo–Christov double diffusion and heterogeneous-homogeneous reactions. Flow is bounded by a bidirectional linear stretchable surface.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

A direct current in an electrochemical cell with a diluted liquid electrolyte leads to the displacement of ions within the solvent, while diffusion works against the resulting concentration differences.

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Simulation of Fick’s verification of the 2nd law [PDF]
Adolph Fick’s original diffusion experiments used two vessels containing water and salt to establish a steady-state concentration gradient that demonstrated the validity of what is now called Fick’s second law of diffusion.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated
