Adaptive Distributed Differential Evolution

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, 2020
Due to the increasing complexity of optimization problems, distributed differential evolution (DDE) has become a promising approach for global optimization. However, similar to the centralized algorithms, DDE also faces the difficulty of strategies' selection and parameters' setting.

Distribution Network Differential Protection Technology Based on 5G Communication and Improved DTW

open access: yesJournal of Harbin University of Science and Technology, 2023
With a large number of distributed power generations connected to the distribution network, the distribution network has gradually transformed into a multi-source and multi-terminal network, and the requirements for relay protection performance are ...

Distributed Automatic Differentiation for Ptychography

open access: yesProcedia Computer Science, 2017
Abstract Synchrotron radiation light source facilities are leading the way to ultrahigh resolution X-ray imaging. High resolution imaging is essential to understanding the fundamental structure and interaction of materials at the smallest length scale possible.

Differential current-mode clock distribution [PDF]

open access: yes2015 IEEE 58th International Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems (MWSCAS), 2015
In this paper, we present a differential current-mode pulsed flip-flop (DCMPFF) for low-power clock distribution using a representative 45nm CMOS technology. Experimental results show that the DCMPFF has 47% faster clock-to-output (CLK-Q) delay than a traditional voltage-mode (VM) pulsed flip-flop.

The fully differential top decay distribution

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2017
We write down the four-dimensional fully differential decay distribution for the top quark decay $$t \rightarrow Wb \rightarrow \ell \nu b$$ t → W b → ℓ ν b .

Publishing Node Strength Distribution With Node Differential Privacy

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
The challenge of graph data publishing under node-differential privacy mainly comes from the high sensitivity of the query. Compared with edge-differential privacy that can only protect the relationship between people, node-differential privacy can ...

An integro-differential structure for Dirac distributions [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Symbolic Computation, 2019
We develop a new algebraic setting for treating piecewise functions and distributions together with suitable differential and Rota-Baxter structures. Our treatment aims to provide the algebraic underpinning for symbolic computation systems handling such objects.

Convergence in Differential Distributions [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
Differential cryptanalysis is a general attack based on the notion of differences. The success of the attack is derived from the probability of a differential. While it has been observed that the distribution of differentials can be modeled as a Markov chain, there have been few analyses that take advantage of this observation because of the ...

Optimal allocation of remote control switches in radial distribution network for reliability improvement

open access: yesAin Shams Engineering Journal, 2018
This paper presents differential search algorithm in order to solve reliability optimization problem of radial distribution network. Remote control switches have been optimally allocated to improve reliability at a compromised cost.

Distributed Delay Differential Equation Representations of Cyclic Differential Equations [PDF]

open access: yesSIAM Journal on Applied Mathematics, 2021
Compartmental ordinary differential equation (ODE) models are used extensively in mathematical biology. When transit between compartments occurs at a constant rate, the well-known linear chain trick can be used to show that the ODE model is equivalent to an Erlang distributed delay differential equation (DDE).
