Laser wire directed energy deposition process was leveraged to fabricate large scale NiTi alloy wall. Evaluation of build‐height‐dependent tribo‐mechanical properties revealed significant differences in location specific sample characteristics. The middle region achieved optimal performance (superior wear resistance, balanced strength‐ductility ...

Grinding chips of high‐alloyed steel are prepared to be admixed to a starting powder mixture for laser powder bed fusion. A three‐stage preparation is performed, including washing in acetone, magnetic separation, and ball milling. The addition of 30% of grinding chips to the powder mixture allows the fabrication of dense samples.

Experimental Analysis and Physics‐Based Analytical Model on Twisted and Coiled Artificial Muscles
Twisted and coiled artificial muscles made from silver‐coated nylon fibers are investigated through experiments and analytical modeling. The actuators achieve contractions up to 19.3% and specific work of 8 kJ kg−1, though efficiency remains limited (≈0.15%) by thermal losses.

A Study on the Behavior of Osculating and Rectifying Curves on Smooth Immersed Surfaces in
This paper presents a detailed investigation into the isometric properties of osculating and rectifying curves on smooth immersed surfaces in E3. We examine the geometric interactions between these curves, specifically when the osculating curve is ...
