A scenario for an evolutionary selection of ageing
Signs of ageing become apparent only late in life, after organismal development is finalized. Ageing, most notably, decreases an individual’s fitness. As such, it is most commonly perceived as a non-adaptive force of evolution and considered a by-product

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Managing urban diversity through differential inclusion in Singapore [PDF]
This paper interrogates processes of everyday urban diversification by challenging dominantnarratives of ‘‘diversity’’ and ‘‘integration’’. I address the management aspects of urbandiversification through the normative and productive categorisations of ...

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Asynchronous stochastic approximation with differential inclusions
The asymptotic pseudo-trajectory approach to stochastic approximation of Benaïm, Hofbauer and Sorin is extended for asynchronous stochastic approximations with a set-valued mean field.

Simplex type differential inclusions
The author reveals modelling simplifications and ease of numerical calculation for the differential inclusion \(\dot x\in V(x)\) in case \(V(x)\) is the \(p\)-dimensional simplex with vertices \(v_0(x)\), \dots, \(v_p(x)\). The investigation relies on the \(\tau\)-family of differential inclusions \(\dot x=X_\tau(x)\) with \(X_\tau=\tau^0v_0+\cdots ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

On the core of an economy with differential information. [PDF]
We show that the (interim) fine core of an atomless exchange economy with differential information is a subset of the ex-post core of the economy. Moreover, the interim fine core may be empty, and therefore it may be a proper subset of the ex-post core ...

Differential Inclusion Approach for Mixed Constrained Problems Revisited [PDF]
Properties of control systems described by differential inclusions are well established in the literature. Of special relevance to optimal control problems are properties concerning measurability, convexity, compactness of trajectories and Lipschitz ...

Two solutions for fractional p-Laplacian inclusions under nonresonance
We study a pseudo-differential inclusion driven by the fractional p-Laplacian operator and involving a nonsmooth potential, which satisfies nonresonance conditions both at the origin and at infinity.
