Rate dependence of current and fluctuations in jump models with negative differential mobility

open access: yes, 2019
Negative differential mobility is the phenomenon in which the velocity of a particle decreases when the force driving it increases. We study this phenomenon in Markov jump models where a particle moves in the presence of walls that act as traps.

Delay differential inclusions with constraints [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1995
In this paper we examine functional differential inclusions with memory and state constraints. For the case of time-independent state constraints, we show that the solution set is R δ {R_\delta } under Carathéodory conditions on the orientor field. For the case of time-dependent state constraints we

Effects of Cancer Treatment on Somatosensory and Nociceptive Processing in Children and Adolescents: A Systematic Review

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Chemotherapy‐induced peripheral neuropathy remains a major complication in pediatric cancer, with disrupted somatosensory and nociceptive processing being a key aspect. This review synthesizes empirical studies on alterations in somatosensory and nociceptive processing in children and adolescents with cancer.

Carcinomas and Carcinoid Tumors of the Lungs and Bronchi in Children and Adolescents: The EXPeRT Recommendations

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Primary lung carcinomas and bronchial carcinoid tumors (BC) are very rare malignancies in childhood. While typical BC and mucoepidermoid carcinomas are mostly low‐grade, localized tumors with a more favorable prognosis than in adults, necessitating avoidance of overtreatment, adenocarcinomas of the lung are often diagnosed at advanced disease ...

Social Transformation and Differential Inclusion: A Study of the Mobility and Labour of Indigenous People in the Agricultural Fields of Oaxacalifornia

open access: yesRevue Européenne des Migrations Internationales, 2022
This paper investigates how, amid broader processes of neoliberal social transformation, changes in agricultural production systems and processes of borderisation have influenced the mobility of Indigenous people and their labour across the Mexico-US ...

Existence result for differential inclusion with p(x)-Laplacian [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
In this paper we study the nonlinear elliptic problem with p(x)-Laplacian (hemivariational inequality). We prove the existence of a nontrivial solution.

On two fractional differential inclusions [PDF]

open access: yesSpringerPlus, 2016
We investigate in this manuscript the existence of solution for two fractional differential inclusions. At first we discuss the existence of solution of a class of fractional hybrid differential inclusions. To illustrate our results we present an illustrative example.

Results of the Childhood Cancer and Leukaemia Group's United Kingdom Relapsed Wilms Tumour Trial

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background The United Kingdom relapsed Wilms tumour (UKW‐R) trial aimed to improve the historically low survival rates after relapse of Wilms tumour (WT) through a prospective national risk‐stratified protocol. The trial also evaluated efficacy and toxicity of high‐dose melphalan.

Pull-back Morphisms for Reflexive Differential Forms

open access: yes, 2013
Let f : X -> Y be a morphism between normal complex varieties, and assume that Y is Kawamata log terminal. Given any differential form, defined on the smooth locus of Y, we construct a "pull-back form" on X.
