New Comparison Theorems for the Nth Order Neutral Differential Equations with Delay Inequalities

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
In this work, we present a new technique for the oscillatory properties of solutions of higher-order differential equations. We set new sufficient criteria for oscillation via comparison with higher-order differential inequalities.

Functional Differential Equations and Inequalities [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, 1936
Let us first try to find the minimum value of the integral ∫02π[f’(x)+mf(x + π)+e(x)]^2dx where f(x) is a uniform function of period 2π which is integrable and such that ∫02π[f(x)]^2dx=1.

Diffusion semigroup on manifolds with time-dependent metrics

open access: yes, 2016
Let $L_t:=\Delta_t +Z_t $, $t\in [0,T_c)$ on a differential manifold equipped with time-depending complete Riemannian metric $(g_t)_{t\in [0,T_c)}$, where $\Delta_t$ is the Laplacian induced by $g_t$ and $(Z_t)_{t\in [0,T_c)}$ is a family of $C^{1,1 ...

Differential Harnack inequalities for nonlinear heat equations with potentials under the Ricci flow

open access: yes, 2012
We prove several differential Harnack inequalities for positive solutions to nonlinear backward heat equations with different potentials coupled with the Ricci flow.

Perspectives in educating molecular pathologists on liquid biopsy: Toward integrative, equitable, and decentralized precision oncology

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Liquid biopsy enables minimally invasive, real‐time molecular profiling through analysis of circulating biomarkers in biological fluids. This Perspective highlights the importance of training pathologists through integrative educational programs, such as the European Masters in Molecular Pathology, to ensure effective and equitable implementation of ...

SMIRNOV AND BERNSTEIN-TYPE INEQUALITIES, TAKING INTO ACCOUNT HIGHER-ORDER COEFFICIENTS AND FREE TERMS OF POLYNOMIALS

open access: yesПроблемы анализа, 2023
The starting point in the theory of differential inequalities for polynomials is the book "Investigation of aqueous solutions by specific gravity" by D. I. Mendeleev. In this work, he dealt not only with chemical, but also mathematical problems.

Globalization, Product Differentiation and Wage Inequality [PDF]

open access: yesSSRN Electronic Journal, 2010
Abstract This paper develops a two‐country, general equilibrium model of oligopoly in which the degree of horizontal product differentiation is endogenously determined by firms’ strategic investments in product innovation. Consumers seek variety and product innovation is more skill intensive than production.

Applying an Ethical Lens to the Treatment of People With Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The practice of neurology requires an understanding of clinical ethics for decision‐making. In multiple sclerosis (MS) care, there are a wide range of ethical considerations that may arise. These involve shared decision‐making around selection of a disease‐modifying therapy (DMT), risks and benefits of well‐studied medications in comparison to

A System of Differential Set-Valued Variational Inequalities in Finite Dimensional Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2014
A system of differential set-valued variational inequalities is introduced and studied in finite dimensional Euclidean spaces. An existence theorem of weak solutions for the system of differential set-valued variational inequalities in the sense of ...

Oscillation Theory for Non-Linear Neutral Delay Differential Equations of Third Order

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
In this article, we study a class of non-linear neutral delay differential equations of third order. We first prove criteria for non-existence of non-Kneser solutions, and criteria for non-existence of Kneser solutions.
