Explicit L2 inequalities for parabolic and pseudoparabolic equations with Neumann boundary conditions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1978
Explicit L2 inequalities are derived for second and third order diffusion equations with Neumann boundary conditions. Such inequalities are useful in approximating solutions to partial differential equations by the method of a priori inequalities.

Some new generalized retarded inequalities for discontinuous functions and their applications

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2016
In this paper, some new generalized retarded inequalities for discontinuous functions are discussed, which are effective in dealing with the qualitative theory of some impulsive differential equations and impulsive integral equations.

Weighted Norm Inequalities for Solutions to the Nonhomogeneous A-Harmonic Equation

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2009
We first prove the local and global two-weight norm inequalities for solutions to the nonhomogeneous A-harmonic equation A(x,g+du)=h+d⋆v for differential forms. Then, we obtain some weighed Lipschitz norm and BMO norm inequalities for differential

ELLIPTIC AND PARABOLIC DIFFERENTIAL INEQUALITIES

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica, 2000
The author establishes comparison results for some semilinear elliptic and parabolic inequalities of the forms \[ -\Delta \mu+\omega\mu\leq f(x,u)\text{ a.a. }x\in\Omega,\;u\in H^1_0(\Omega),\quad \Delta u\in L^2(\Omega), \] respectively \[ \begin{aligned} & \frac{\partial \mu}{\partial t}-\Delta u\leq f(x,t,u)\text{ a.a. }x\in \Omega,\text{ all } t>0,\

On nonexistence of solutions to some nonlinear inequalities with transformed argument

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2017
We obtain results on nonexistence of nontrivial solutions for several classes of nonlinear partial differential inequalities and systems of such inequalities with transformed argument.

From pseudo-holomorphic functions to the associated real manifold

open access: yes, 2016
This paper studies first the differential inequalities that make it possible to build a global theory of pseudo-holomorphic functions in the case of one or several complex variables.

On Oleck-Opial-Beesack-Troy integro-differential inequalities

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2004
We obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for the integro-differential inequality $$ int_a^bdot x^2(t),dtgeqgammaint_a^bq(t),|dot x(t)x(t)|,dt $$ to be valid with one of the three boundary conditions: $x(a)=0$, or $x(a)=0$, or $x(a)=x(b)=0$.

ON REMOVING RESTRICTIONS IN THE BERNSTEIN THEOREM AND ITS MODIFICATIONS

open access: yesПроблемы анализа
In 1930, S. N. Bernstein proved the following theorem: Let f and F be complex polynomials such that 1)deg f ≤ deg F = n; 2)F has all its zeros in closure of the disc Δ = {z∈ℂ:|z| < 1}; 3)|f(z)| ≤ |F(z)| for |z| = 1.
