We introduce a 3D tracing method based on differential geometry in Gaussian blurred images. The line point detection part of the tracing method starts with calculation of the line direction from the eigenvectors of the Hessian matrix. The sub-voxel center line position is estimated from a second order Taylor approximation of the 2D intensity profile ...

Causal Transmission Line Geometry Optimization for Impedance Control in PCBs
2020 IEEE 29th Conference on Electrical Performance of Electronic Packaging and Systems (EPEPS), 2020PCB transmission lines are designed with broadband impedance matching using differential evolution while including causal dispersion and roughness. Results for striplines show that an optimized geometry can be found with differential evolution.

Differential Framework for Submeter-Accurate Vehicular Navigation With Cellular Signals
IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Vehicles, 2023A framework that could achieve submeter-level-accurate horizontal navigation with carrier phase differential measurements from cellular signals is developed. This framework, termed CD-cellular, is composed of a base and a rover in a cellular environment,

Surfaces of constant principal-curvatures ratio in isotropic geometry
Beiträge zur Algebra und Geometrie / Contributions to Algebra and Geometry, 2023We study surfaces with a constant ratio of principal curvatures in Euclidean and simply isotropic geometries and characterize rotational, channel, ruled, helical, and translational surfaces of this kind under some technical restrictions (the latter two ...
