Revisiting limit cycles for 3-monomial differential equations

Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2020
In the paper [\textit{A. Gasull} et al., J. Math. Anal. Appl. 428, 735--749 (2015; Zbl 1323.34037) it was shown that there exists a system of type \[\dot{z}=(a+i)z+(b+i)z|z|^{2(p-2)}-5i/2\bar{z}^{p-1},\] with \(a,b\in\mathbb{R}\), \(3 \leq p \leq \mathbb{N}\) having at least \(p\) limits cycles.

A new differential monomial space-time code

IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference, 2005, 2005
A new class of differential unitary space-time codes, namely, differential monomial space-time codes, is proposed. In contrast to many other differential unitary space-time codes, this new class of differential monomial space-time codes does not require the transmitted matrices to form a group.

On the value distribution of two differential monomials

Analysis, 2008
Let \(f\) be a meromorphic function and let \(\varphi\) be a small function with respect to \(f\). The authors consider the value distribution of the two differential monomials of the form \(\varphi f^nf'(f^{(k)})^p\) and \(\varphi f^{n-1}f^{(k)}\). They use the standard Nevanlinna theory. One of the main results is the following. Let \(n,p\) and \(k\)
