Topological Photonic Devices and Circuits at Terahertz Frequencies

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
This review examines how 3D topological insulators and emerging topological photonic phases enable robust, low‐loss and defect‐immune terahertz devices. Fundamental properties, device implementations and topological transport mechanisms are surveyed, revealing new opportunities for reconfigurable, high‐performance THz components and scalable ...

Differential Quadrature and Differential Transformation Methods in Buckling Analysis of Nanobeams

open access: yesCurved and Layered Structures, 2019
In this paper, two computationally efficient techniques viz. Differential Quadrature Method (DQM) and Differential Transformation Method (DTM) have been used for buckling analysis of Euler-Bernoulli nanobeam incorporation with the nonlocal theory of ...

A highly accurate numerical method for solving boundary value problem of generalized Bagley‐Torvik equation

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
A highly accurate numerical method is given for the solution of boundary value problem of generalized Bagley‐Torvik (BgT) equation with Caputo derivative of order 0<β<2$$ 0<\beta <2 $$ by using the collocation‐shooting method (C‐SM). The collocation solution is constructed in the space Sm+1(1)$$ {S}_{m+1}^{(1)} $$ as piecewise polynomials of degree at ...

Finite Biorthogonal Polynomials Suggested by the Finite Orthogonal Polynomials Mnp,qx$$ {M}_n^{\left(p,q\right)}(x) $$

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Constructing a biorthogonal structure from scratch, that is, defining a biorthogonal pair is quite tough. Because here the orthogonality must be established between two different sets. There are four known univariate biorthogonal polynomial sets, suggested by Laguerre, Jacobi, Hermite and Szegő‐Hermite polynomials, in the literature.

An implicit semianalytic numerical method for the solution of nonequilibrium chemistry problems [PDF]

open access: yes
The first order differential equation form systems of equations. They are solved by a simple and relatively accurate implicit semianalytic technique which is derived from a quadrature solution of the governing equation.

Rapid Tissue‐CSF Water Exchange in the Human Brain Revealed by Magnetization Transfer Indirect Spin Labeling

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 95, Issue 6, Page 3270-3283, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Purpose To apply the Magnetization Transfer Indirect Spin Labeling (MISL) MRI technique for quantifying tissue‐CSF water exchange in the human brain, and to investigate its utility in (1) evaluating tissue‐CSF water exchange within perivascular spaces (PVS), and (2) characterizing altered water exchange dynamics in pathologic conditions ...

Quadrature Methods for Stiff Ordinary Differential Systems [PDF]

open access: yesMathematics of Computation, 1981
The quadrature methods are based upon a substitution of an explicit A-stable first approximation into a generalized convolution formula. They are A-stable, explicit, and of arbitrarily high order. The generalized convolution formula is derived and its order-raising properties examined.
