A Noise-Shifting Differential Colpitts VCO [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
A novel noise-shifting differential Colpitts VCO is presented. It uses current switching to lower phase noise by cyclostationary noise alignment and improve the start-up condition.

Symmetry Properties of a Generalized Korteweg-de Vires Equation and some Explicit Solutions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
The symmetry group method is applied to a generalized Korteweg-de Vries equation and several classes of group invarint solution for it are obtained by means of this technique.

Linearizing and Forecasting: A Reservoir Computing Route to Digital Twins of the Brain

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A new approach uses simple neural networks to create digital twins of brain activity, capturing how different patterns unfold over time. The method generates and recovers key dynamics even from noisy data. When applied to fMRI, it predicts brain signals and reveals distinctive activity patterns across regions and individuals, opening possibilities for ...

Differential-quadrature-phase-shift quantum digital signature

open access: yesOptics Express, 2022
A novel quantum digital signature (QDS) scheme, called “differential quadrature phase-shift QDS,” is presented. A message sender broadcasts a weak coherent pulse train with four phases of {0, π/2, π, 3π/2} and recipients create their own authentication keys from the broadcasted signal.

XOR‐Logic Phase Coding Programmable Metasurface for Low Power‐Consumption Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
By leveraging XOR logic, the biasing‐network complexity of 2D programmable metasurfaces is reduced from m×n to m+n through efficient row‐column control. This enables versatile functions including beam deflection and beamforming, facilitating applications in wireless communications and beyond.

Extended modified cubic B-spline algorithm for nonlinear Fisher’s reaction-diffusion equation

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal, 2016
In this paper, a new method “extended modified cubic B-spline differential quadrature method (EMCB-DQM)” is introduced by using extended modified cubic B-spline functions as test functions in the traditional differential quadrature method.

Extending Battery Usage Time of a Heavy‐Duty Mecanum‐Wheeled Autonomous Electric Vehicle Used in Iron–Steel Industry by Considering Wheel Slippage

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2025.
It is a fact that slippage causes tracking errors in both longitudinal and lateral directions which results to have less travel distance in tracking a reference trajectory. Less travel distance means having energy loss of the battery and carrying loads less than planned.

Gaussian quadrature rules and A-stability of Galerkin schemes for ODE

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2003
The A-stability properties of continuous and discontinuous Galerkin methods for solving ordinary differential equations (ODEs) are established using properties of Legendre polynomials and Gaussian quadrature rules. The influence on the A-stability of the
