Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) for planetary surface exploration
Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) is the quantitative measurement of the enthalpic response of a material to a systematic change in temperature. In practice, the heat flow into or outward from a sample is measured as the sample is heated or cooled ...

Thermo‐Derived Cholesteric Liquid Crystal Elastomer Pattern with Composite Structural Colors
A thermochromic cholesteric liquid crystal (CLC) oligomer was synthesized for the preparation of CLC elastomer (CLCE) films with dual reflection bands. Subsequently, a CLCE pattern with composite structural colors was prepared, which was suitably applied for decoration and anti‐counterfeiting.

Positional isomerism in dibenzofuran‐based n‐type hosts modulates molecular polarity, charge‐transport balance, and emissive‐layer packing. The higher‐polarity BFPDB‐2 host facilitates efficient energy funneling, reduced aggregation, and preferential dipole orientation, leading to phosphor‐sensitized fluorescence OLEDs with enhanced external quantum ...

SESSILE DROPLET DIFFERENTIAL SCANNING CALORIMETRY CHIP FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL SAMPLES
This paper presents a sessile droplet differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) chip for liquid crystal phase transition characterization. The chip achieves higher sensitivity and less signal distortion compared to commercial DSC, while the chip's sample ...

A flexible liquid‐crystalline electrolyte membrane via in situ photopolymerization of a phosphate‐functionalized mesogen, ionic liquid, and diacrylate monomer is developed. The resulting smectic B (SmB)‐phase structure enables 2D ion transport with high conductivity (10−4 S cm−1).

Autonomous Locomotion of Tensegrity Structure on Low‐Temperature Surfaces
A low‐temperature responsive tensegrity structure (LRTS) is constructed by integrating low‐responsive temperature liquid crystal elastomer (LCE) cables, nonresponsive cables, and stiff rods. The low phase transition temperature of LCE is achieved by introducing a new liquid crystal mesogen.

Tumbling Magnetic Microrobots for Targeted In Vivo Drug Delivery in the GI Tract
We introduce a microrobot design and integrated system for on‐demand targeted drug release in the gastrointestinal tract. The microrobot has an embedded magnet for actuation with external magnetic fields and is visualized in real time using ultrasound. It has two drug release ports sealed with a thermally sensitive wax. Local heating of the wax using a
