Abstract Aims Cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) is the standard approach for coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) in advanced ischaemic cardiomyopathy. Microaxial pump support has been envisioned to allow for beating‐heart CABG without CPB (MPCAB), thereby avoiding CPB‐inherent complications.

Parametric subordination in fractional diffusion processes [PDF]
We consider simulation of spatially one-dimensional space-time fractional diffusion. Whereas in an earlier paper of ours we have developed the basic theory of what we call parametric subordination via three-fold splitting applied to continuous time random walk with subsequent passage to the diffusion limit, here we go the opposite way.

Differentiated policy implementation in food safety and animal welfare policymaking
Abstract Agri‐food policies are in the midst of far‐reaching transitions, including the transformation towards sustainable production and food consumption. The European Green Deal and Farm to Fork Strategy prioritize food safety and animal welfare issues, aiming to transform food systems towards more sustainability.

ABSTRACT In the context of Europeanisation and neo‐corporatism, we examine the lengthy process of revising the Nondiscrimination Act in Finland, spanning from 2007 to 2023. The focus is on the mandate of the Nondiscrimination Ombudsman in the workplace and on explaining the sudden policy change of strengthening it after a prolonged standstill.

Biomaterials‐Involved Construction of Extracellular Matrices for Tumor Blockade Therapy
Extracellular matrices (ECMs) play a crucial role in tumor growth and metastases by providing structural support and facilitating tumor cell proliferation. In this review, we explore the development of artificial ECMs engineered through biomineralization, fibrogenesis, and gelation. These bioinspired ECMs create a protective barrier around tumor cells,

Subordinations and superordinations studies using $ q $-difference operator
The results of this work belong to the field of geometric function theory, being based on differential subordination methods. Using the idea of the $ \mathfrak{q} $-calculus operators, we define the $ \mathfrak{q} $-analogue of the multiplier- Ruscheweyh

Smooth densities for SDEs driven by subordinated Brownian motion with Markovian switching [PDF]
In this paper we consider a class of stochastic differential equations driven by subordinate Brownian motion with Markovian switching. We use Malliavin calculus to study the smoothness of the density for the solution under uniform H\"ormander's type condition.

Differential subordination related to conic sections
AbstractIn this paper some problems of the theory of differential subordination are investigated in connection with conic domains. In particular, fundamental conditions for functions mapped the unit disk onto domains bounded by parabolas and hyperbolas are deduced.

Charnockites with 2691–2607 Ma magmatic ages from the NMZ show arc‐magmatic geochemical signatures. They correspond to the lower‐crustal equivalent of the Chilimanzi Suite Granite in the Zimbabwe Craton. Lu‐Hf isotopic data of magmatic zircons show negative εHf(t) values (−11.18 to −2.20) with TDMC ages of 3699–3158 Ma, suggesting their protolith ...
