Third Order Differential Subordination for Analytic Functions Involving Convolution Operator
In the present paper, by making use of the new generalized operator, some results of third order differential subordination and differential superordination consequence for analytic functions are obtained.

ABSTRACT Ernst Rüdin, an important and controversial figure in the history of psychiatric genetics, published only one major empirical study on siblings of dementia praecox (DP) probands in 1916. He conducted a parallel study of siblings of probands with manic‐depressive insanity (MDI), but the resulting monograph, written in the early 1920s, was left ...

The Insistence of Blackness and the Persistence of Antiblackness in Ireland
ABSTRACT This paper positions Ireland as a critical site for examining the insistence of blackness and an antiblackness created and sustained through Irish ethnonationalist imaginaries and exclusionary processes. Drawing on connected sociologies and Irish Black Studies, this enquiry argues that antiblackness in Ireland operates as a generational force,

‘Turkeys Cannot Vote for Christmas’: Why Epistemic Disobedience in an Anti‐Black World Matters
ABSTRACT Never in the history of global coloniality has the idea of epistemic disobedience been as important as in the 21st century. This is not only because the struggle for decolonisation has shifted from physical confrontation between the coloniser and the colonised into a battle of ideas but also because the former has deployed the idea of ...

Some applications of a differential subordination
A number of interesting criteria were given by earlier workers for a normalized analytic function to be in the familiar class 𝔖* of starlike functions. The main object of the present paper is to extend and improve each of these earlier results.

ABSTRACT This article reflects on the construction of a supportive community of Black Afro‐diasporic graduate students and their supervisors researching issues relating to race in the field of education in Australia. It draws on the concept of marronage—a term rooted in the fugitive act of becoming a maroon, where enslaved people enacted an escape in ...

Differential subordinations for fractional‐linear transformations
We establish that the differential subordinations of the forms p(z) + γzp′(z)≺h(A1, B1; z) or p(z) + γzp′(z)/p(z)≺h(A2, B2; z) implies p(z)≺h(A, B; z), where γ ≥ 0 and h(A, B; z) = (1 + Az)/(1 + Bz) with −1 ≤ B < A.

Application of Pythagorean means and Differential Subordination
For $0\leq \leq 1,$ let $H_ (x,y)$ be the convex weighted harmonic mean of $x$ and $y.$ We establish differential subordination implications of the form \begin{equation*} H_ (p(z),p(z) (z)+zp'(z) (z))\prec h(z)\Rightarrow p(z)\prec h(z), \end{equation*} where $ ,\; $ are analytic functions and $h$ is a univalent function satisfying some special ...

On the Prospects for African Philosophy in Australia
ABSTRACT This paper grapples with the situation of people of African descent in Australia by working through the constitution of the body of academic philosophy in the country. It contends with the parochialism of the Australian philosophical community and the prospects for the cultivation of greater pluralism. Taking African philosophy as one possible

ON APPLICATIONS OF DIFFERENTIAL SUBORDINATION [PDF]
Using a generalized differential operator we define certain sub- classes of analytic functions and study about their inclusion relationships using differential subordination.
