Multiple ETS family transcription factors bind mutant p53 via distinct interaction regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mutant p53 gain‐of‐function is thought to be mediated by interaction with other transcription factors. We identify multiple ETS transcription factors that can bind mutant p53 and found that this interaction can be promoted by a PXXPP motif. ETS proteins that strongly bound mutant p53 were upregulated in ovarian cancer compared to ETS proteins that ...

Semi-analytical approach for solving the mathematical model of solid-phase diffusion in electrodes: An application of modified differential transform method

open access: yesPartial Differential Equations in Applied Mathematics
Lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) have powered the modern world to propel electric vehicles (EVs) and renewable energy sources. These technologies demand higher efficiency and reliability, thereby providing robust mathematical methods are essential for ...

Applications of the Tarig Transform and Hyers–Ulam Stability to Linear Differential Equations

open access: yesMathematics, 2023
In this manuscript, we discuss the Tarig transform for homogeneous and non-homogeneous linear differential equations. Using this Tarig integral transform, we resolve higher-order linear differential equations, and we produce the conditions required for ...

Reduced Differential Transform Method for Generalized KdV Equations [PDF]

open access: yesMathematical and Computational Applications, 2010
In this paper, a general framework of the reduced differential transform method is presented for solving the generalized Korteweg–de Vries equations. This technique doesn’t require any discretization, linearization or small perturbations and therefore it reduces significantly the numerical computation.

An upstream open reading frame regulates expression of the mitochondrial protein Slm35 and mitophagy flux

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Generalized Differential Transform Method to Space-Time Fractional Telegraph Equation

open access: yesInternational Journal of Differential Equations, 2011
We use generalized differential transform method (GDTM) to derive the solution of space-time fractional telegraph equation in closed form. The space and time fractional derivatives are considered in Caputo sense and the solution is obtained in terms of ...

Study of Convergence of Reduced Differential Transform Method for Different Classes of Differential Equations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Differential Equations, 2021
In this work, we study the sufficient condition for convergence of the reduced differential transform method for nonlinear differential equations. The main power of this method is its ability and flexibility in solving linear and nonlinear problems ...

Differential Transform Method as an Effective Tool for Investigating Fractional Dynamical Systems

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
This study investigates the use of the differential transform method (DTM) for integrating the Rössler system of the fractional order. Preliminary studies of the integer-order Rössler system, with reference to other well-established integration methods ...

A new operational matrix based on Bernoulli polynomials [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
In this research, the Bernoulli polynomials are introduced. The properties of these polynomials are employed to construct the operational matrices of integration together with the derivative and product.

An Algorithmic Approach to Limit Cycles of Nonlinear Differential Systems: the Averaging Method Revisited

open access: yes, 2019
This paper introduces an algorithmic approach to the analysis of bifurcation of limit cycles from the centers of nonlinear continuous differential systems via the averaging method. We develop three algorithms to implement the averaging method.
