A General Scheme for Solving Systems of Linear First-Order Differential Equations Based on the Differential Transform Method

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2021
In this study, we develop the differential transform method in a new scheme to solve systems of first-order differential equations. The differential transform method is a procedure to obtain the coefficients of the Taylor series of the solution of ...

A Comprehensive Coordinate Space Renormalization of Quantum Electrodynamics to 2-Loop Order

open access: yes, 1992
We develop a coordinate space renormalization of massless Quantum Electrodynamics using the powerful method of differential renormalization. Bare one-loop amplitudes are finite at non-coincident external points, but do not accept a Fourier transform into

The planar cell polarity protein Vangl2 interacts with the PDZ‐domains of Scribble but not with a unique PDZ‐like domain in Inturned

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

On the use of Mellin transform to a class of q-difference-differential equations

open access: yes, 2000
We explore the possibility of using the method of classical integral transforms to solve a class of $q$-difference-differential equations. The Laplace and the Mellin transform of $q$-derivatives are derived.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Modified two-dimensional differential transform method for solving proportional delay partial differential equations

open access: yesResults in Control and Optimization
In this study, we develop a modified version of the two-dimensional differential transform (TDDT) method for solving proportional delay partial differential equations (PDPDEs) that frequently arise in engineering and scientific models.

Differential transform method for unsteady nanofluid flow and heat transfer

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal, 2018
In this article, unsteady two phases of nanofluid flow and heat transfer between moving parallel plates in the presence of the magnetic field were tackled by Differential transform method (DTM).

Solution of conformable fractional ordinary differential equations via differential transform method [PDF]

open access: yesOptik, 2017
Recently, a new fractional derivative called the conformable fractional derivative is given which is based on the basic limit definition of the derivative in [1]. Then, the fractional versions of chain rules, exponential functions, Gronwall's inequality, integration by parts, Taylor power series expansions is developed in [2].
