Matrix Wiener-Hopf factorisation II [PDF]
A direct method is described for effecting the explicit Wiener-Hopf factorisation of a class of (2 x 2}—matrices. The class is determined such that the factorisation problem can be reduced to a matrix Hilbert problem which involves an upper or lower ...

This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.

A time-domain second-order FEM model for the wave diffraction-radiation problem. Validation with a semisubmersible platform [PDF]
A finite element method for the solution of the up-to-second-order wave diffraction-radiation problem in the time-domain is proposed. The solver has been verified against available analytical solutions, and validated against experimental data available for the HiPRWind semisubmersible platform (designed for floating wind turbines).

Extension of Bethe's diffraction model to conical Geometry: application to near field optics
The generality of the Bethe's two dipole model for light diffraction through a subwavelength aperture in a conducting plane is studied in the radiation zone for coated conical fiber tips as those used in near field scanning optical microscopy.

Photoelectron diffraction: from phenomenological demonstration to practical tool [PDF]
The potential of photoelectron diffraction—exploiting the coherent interference of directly-emitted and elastically scattered components of the photoelectron wavefield emitted from a core level of a surface atom to obtain structural information—was first

MOFs and COFs in Electronics: Bridging the Gap between Intrinsic Properties and Measured Performance
Metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs) hold promise for advanced electronics. However, discrepancies in reported electrical conductivities highlight the importance of measurement methodologies. This review explores intrinsic charge transport mechanisms and extrinsic factors influencing performance, and critically ...
