Absolute diffuse reflectance from relative reflectance measurements
Applied Optics, 1987A method is presented whereby any photometer than can measure relative diffuse reflectance of materials in the laboratory can be used to measure absolute diffuse reflectance of such samples without any modification to the apparatus. No additional integrating spheres or special optical geometries are required.

Materials Research Bulletin, 1967Abstract Diffuse reflectance spectra measured for powdered specimens of monoclinic, amorphous and hexagonal selenium in the region 0.2μ to 2.0μ are compared and discussed in relation to the known absorption spectra of selenium in single crystal, amorphous bulk, vapor and solute forms. In all forms, the Se:Se bond is found to be of dominant importance.
